THE DAY - 16th Sept 2007 was a fun and exciting day for all of us!
But it was also very very physically EXHAUSTING.
Woke up at 4am in the morning to reach the bride's house at 5am.
Kind Yanz came to fetch LY and myself.
But haha we were a lil' late becoz of the Late Queen(i.e. ME!)
Was too busy with the preparations to take photos,
but we did managed to take squeeze a few minutes to take these pictures:
Had a great time sabo-ing the groom and his band of brothers.
But they were not sporting enough to let us 'te-kan' them.
Plus they were super late.
Was supposed to reach at 6am and step into the house by 7am.
But they only managed to reach at 6.35pm!
A couple of things we made them do:
1. Drink some 'yummy' concoction that we made! Includes 3 different types of beer, coffee, milo, strawberry yoghurt, mayonnaise, red dates, wolfberries, milk etc...
2. Wax their legs!
3. Put on lipstick and leave their lip-prints on the wedding scrapbook as momento.
4. Hula-hoop dance
5. The groom to list 20 reasons why he loves the bride and read them out loud to the bride.
6. Guess and buy the right key to the bride's room
These are SO MILD! We took away the other DEVIOUS plans we had.
Yet they are not sporting enough!
They were bargaining with us and taking their own sweet time! =(
After that it was off to the groom's house for tea ceremony.
Everyone left first and we 3 jie-meis were the last bcoz we were the only jie-meis who drove (the rest of the cars were the xiong dis') and had to tie ribbons to our car!
N bcoz we were the last, we lost sight of the rest and ended up LOST!
We had to drive from Woodlands to Jurong...but we ended up at Ang Mo Kio via CTE somehow bcoz we took a wrong turn!
Luckily the groom realized we were missing and called us to give directions!
Wahahah!
Luckily for us, we din miss much at the groom's house because all of them took a short break before gg upstairs as it was not the auspicious time yet.
But we were the last to reach...SO MALU.
We nicknamed ourselves the 'SOTONG SISTERS!'
Becoz after we parked, we exited by the wrong exit at the multi-storey carpark and had to make a detour round it through a coffeeshop!
All the coffeeshop Ah Peks and Ah Sohs were staring at us, the 3 silly girls in white!
Plus, we almost forgot to take the bride's wedding gown suitcase when we left the car!
How blur and inexperienced can we get! haha!
At the groom's house, i saw smthg terrifying!
A super big roasted pig with a very perky butt and curly tail that points towards the ceiling!

It was back to Sophia's house after that for tea ceremony at the function room.
We went home and rushed to prepare ourselves for the wedding banquet at night.
Rehearsals were at 4.30pm.
This time it was Baby's turn to fetch me, Yanz and LY.
N coincidentally, all 3 of us were dressed in black!
As usual, I was late and we only managed to reach at 5.15pm.
Luckily everyone else at the hotel was not eaxactly ready yet.
Rehearsal time was fun coz Yanz and I were the Mandarin and English emcess respectively for the night!
We were busy playing around with the mic, dancing on stage...
but we worked very hard too coz we had to make several very last minute changes to our script due to changes in the programme.
I had to re-word the script to incorporate the last minute changes, and Yanz had to translate them in Chinese.
But shudnt be a problem for Yanz coz she's a chinese teacher! Supposed to be PRO!
