Vday was juz an ordinary but very happie day

Baby and I wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day by having a nice dinner together like most couples.
But dinner plans were cancelled last minute becoz of my Daddy!

At lunchtime, Daddy called me.

Daddy: Girl ah!...i got Valentine's day present for you...
Me: (suspicious) Huh...isit...what?
Daddy: A Honda Civic!!!
Me: (Woah! Super excited! Kinda screaming alry) Really ah really ah!!?? Sure anot??!
Daddy: Haha. Yah i am buying a new car. New Honda Civic (8th Gen).
Me: Oh yay! So you are going to give me your current Honda Civic?
Daddy: No lar, im gg to sell it back to Honda. Can get back around $40K. Offset my new car.
Me: *(Bumped like someone just burst my bubble) Oh. Chey! Den why u say want to give me present?
Daddy: Coz i buy new car you also get to drive mah.
Me: Chey!.....(disappointed yet i know it will be too good to be true)
Me: Ok you buy lor.

So Daddy asked me to come with him to see the car after work.
Mummy was going too.
Daddy wanted our opinions and wanted us to choose the colours before he buys it.
So Baby and I cancelled our Vday dinner plans and we went to see car.
Haha!
But it was a happie and exciting day.
We ended up buying the car.
N we ate with my family at Ikea after that.
I got to eat my fave yummy Swedish meatballs.
Yay!

Dinner was postponed to the next day, Friday.
We were craving for some nice, simple, authemtic Korean bbq steamboat.
So we went to our fave place Awon Korean restaurant!
Yumz!
N we were so satisfied =)

CNY's almost coming to an end...
N im putting on weight day by day.
Have been eating good food at restaurants during CNY period.
Luckily not i pay.
Else i will feel unjustified spending so much money just to put on so much weight.
Wahaha!

To-date, I have lo hei-ed for a total of 6 times this year...
the most in a single CNY that i have ever done so.
N i dun even like to eat yu sheng.

I am no Angel

Baby and I had a funny tele-conversation last night.
He was talking about how bad his boss is and how he wanted to do this and that to her.
Basically do bad stuff to her lar.

Me: Huh...dun be so bad lar. You believe in Karma right? What goes around comes around. Bad stuff will come back to you one leh.
Baby: But she is the one who deserves Karma. She's so bad. Im helping everyone to get back at her...to get her own karma.
Me: U think u what? Hero ah.
Baby: Yah. I am sent by someone...
Me: Who? The Devil? The Dark side?
Baby: Maybe...
Me: Eh, but I am an Angel leh. Angel and Devil cannot be together one you know. You want meh?
Baby: (burst out in hysteric laughter) Hahahaha!
Me: What's so funny?
Baby: (continues laughing)
Me: Wei! What's so funny!?
Baby: (trying to stop laughing) You? An Angel? You are anything but an Angel lor! (continues laughing)
Me: (pissed) Whadya mean im not an Angel?
Baby: (still laughing) You are more like a Devil.
Me: Where got! Im honest, trustworthy, I dun cheat and i have INTEGRITY...I have strong moral values...unlike some ppl...
Baby: But being just that doesnt make you an Angel.
Me: ......
Me: I dun wanna talk to you already.

My new Burberry bag!

Yay! I got myself a new Burberry bag!
I liked it so much when i first saw it.

I wanted a new versatile tote bag. So i surfed the net and shopped ard.
Decided that I love this bag the most as it suits my current need.
I wanted the Medium size one on Black.
(I cudnt find a pic of the black one i wanted, so here's the white version)


Last Sat, i went to the Taka Burberry outlet and they were having a 10% sale storewide - only that outlet is having a sale.
And i saw the bag sitting there under the "New Arrival" section.
I decided to contemplate awhile longer before deciding whether or not to buy.
I din wanna be too implusive.

I thot hard about it and cudnt take my mind off the bag.
So the very next day - Sunday, i went back to get the bag.

But lo and behold! The bag was SOLD OUT!
Apparently it only came in a few pieces and was a hot seller.
It was sold out on Sat altho i just saw it on Sat afternoon.
Even the display piece was sold =(
The sales person said the stock may or may not come again and even if it does, it will be at least 2 to 3 weeks later.
So i left my number behind for them to call me if new stock arrives,
altho by then there will not be anymore 10% discount.

But...
The more i cant get it, the more i want it!
So i went to the Ngee Ann City and Paragon Burberry outlets.
These Burberry outlets did not have any sale/discounts but i wanted it so much by then that i dun mind losing out on the 10% discount.
Unfortunately for me, even at these branches, the bag was all sold out by Sat.
Only the Large and Small size were left.
I wanted the Medium size one.
I regretted it so much that i did not buy it on Sat when i saw it at Taka outlet...got 10% discount somemore...

I was so so sad that i whined about it to Baby for the rest of the day.
Undaunted, I decided to try my luck at the airport, praying and hoping hard that they have it.
The next morning, after i reported for work, i went to T2's Burberry to check it out.
THEY DUN HAVE IT!
Only the Large size was available.
I thot it was realli not meant to be.

Den at lunchtime....
I walked past Burberry again.
I saw that the store had a heap of new bags that r waiting to be unwrapped and stocked.
So i ran in and found out that a new batch of bags have just arrived!
N the design i wanted was available! They only had 3 pieces of it!
Oh YAY!
The silly salesperson that served me in the morn was new and was not aware that there will be new stock arrival in the noon.
So i was not advised.

I felt so lucky to have walked past Burberry again at the RIGHT time,
when the stock of the new designs just arrive.
I was just in time!
And so i bought it!

How i thank my lucky stars!
It was a good thing that i cudnt find it in town because it was much cheaper in the airport.
It was a BLESSING IN DISGUISE!

It was retailing at $770 at the normal Burberry stores.
Retail price at the airport's DFS Burberry was $730!
And, best thing is....airport staff like me is entitled to a 15% discount storewide!
So i only paid $620 for my bag...
a saving of $150 than if i have bought it at the outlets in orchard!

Oh weeeee!!!!
Im so happy!


I HEART my new Burberry bag!

Holiday mood!

Im in a holiday mood!
Im so happie that tmr we only need to work half day.

N my work laptop came in today!
Fujitsu S series.
But it is so small! The screen is only 13 inches instead of the normal 14" to 15".
N altho it is small, it is not say very light lor.
It weighs just as much...so what's the point?
N the words are so small on the screen, I need time to get used to it!
FYI, i have been using desktop for study and work in the past.
Nvr owned a laptop...so gotto get used to it.

Anyway, altho im in a holiday mood, I dun like CNY.
In fact CNY is my most hated holiday.
I am only looking forward to it coz it's a holiday and i dun have to work!
I dun like Chinese traditions and customs.
I think they r a hassle.
I dun like to go to relatives' house to do nothing but sit there and watch the old aunties talk.
Ok lar, with a few exceptions.
Gg to some relatives' house and catching up with some of my cousins can be quite ok.
But in general, it's darn boring.

Den all you do is eat.
Coz got nothing to do mah...so just eat and eat and eat lor.
So after that, i will look like a fat pig with a fat puffer fish face =(

I dun realli like to gamble also.
So basically, im always very bored and i think it is a waste of precious time to do visiting.
Boo hoo.

I rather go out KTV-ing, drinking, watching movies, walk walk...

Went KTV-ing w my gers again last Friday!
All of them were late coz all had to OT.
Altho i was late too, but i was the earliest!
So i went KTV w Baby first! =)

I love my gers! =)


We were so crazy that day over Fahrenheit (me and Yanz) and Jay Chou (LY).
We sang a lot of their songs!
Either that or we just chose the songs to watch the mtv and gush over them...esp. Wu Zun and Jiro!!! Yay! Hahaha.

I forsee that im gonna get realli fat after CNY.
The food binge/indulgence started on Sat when Baby's bro gave us all a treat from his property earnings at International Seafood restaurant.
We had 2 tables, and each table had 9 courses which cost $688++ per table!

We had realli good food like yu sheng, shark's fin, australian lobster, thai curry crab, garoupa fish, peking duck, veggie w scallop etc.
We had nice french red wine too!
