Altho I went GSS shopping over the weekend,
I din buy anything despite going into NUMEROUS shops!
Aint I a good girl?

Ok lar...
I bought a bag.
A very cheap bag from Aldo that is on sale!
That's all ok! Nothing else!

Was supposed to meet Baby after his work last Friday.
We havent seen each other all week since last Monday Vesak day holiday!
But before i went to meet Baby, i decided to drop by Orchard for a little while.
Was intending to just shop a few of my fave shops at Wisma Atria.

Oh I wore my new and current favourite pair shoes -
My new River Island black shimmer jelly flat pumps! =)


I went shopping at a few of my fave shops like Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Warehouse, Bebe, Aldo etc.

All the sizes for the sale items at Topshop n Miss Selfrdige were all too big!
Their smallest available size was Size 10!
No Size 6 or 8 ar all!
Wasted all my time browsing thru, only to find out that none can fit me. >_<

When i walked into Bebe - my all time fave shop,
i managed to find 4 pretty dress in either Size XS or S.
But they all cost more than $200, almost $300 =(
The cheapest dress still costs $125 even if it is on 50% discount.
So i cant buy anything!

But i was still very tempted to try them on.
Trying on is FREE!!! =)
I wanted to see if i look nice in them...hehe.

The sizes were still too big for me...as usual.
Dress 1's straps are kinda loose.
Dress 2 is kinda loose at the shoulders.
Dress 3 and 4's armholes were too big!
Only some XS pieces fit me depending on the cut.
Size S totally does not fit =(
And Im not very small size leh!
Most of Bebe's clothes are kinda big coz it is in Canadian sizing.
If you are smaller size than me, u prob need some alteration even with Size XS.

My last stop was Aldo.
Decided to walk in before leaving to meet Baby.
I resisted all the shoes coz i just bought a pair of Guess heels recently.
But i cudnt resist the bags!
Half their bags in the shop was on sale and going at 50% off!
Most bags are just so-so...but ONE bag caught my eye.
After thinking and spending some time in front of the mirror with the bag,
i decided to get it.
Coz i think it is damn cheap.
It was originally $75 but gg for $35 after 50% discount plus further 5% off for UOB cards.

Off i went to meet Baby, feeling proud of myself.
That was the only thing i bought during the whole weekend of GSS shopping.

On Saturday, Baby bought himself a shirt and 2 pairs of Calvin Klein underwear.
Still say i spend so much money on shopping...
YOU also wat!!!
You buy branded underwear leh!
So what's wrong with me buying branded stuff? Haha!

Sunday was spent shopping at Suntec and i DID NOT BUY ANYTHING! =)
I ALMOST bought a lacy black & red bra from La Senza.
But in the end, i din.
Coz i liked it...but i wasnt head over heels in love with it.

Oh! Just to share, Baby bought a bicycle about 1 and a half months back.
His bro stopped fetching him to the mrt station to get to work every morning
coz his daughter Leticia started pre-nursery school so he fetches his daughter instead.
So Baby bought a bike to cycle from home to the mrt station which takes about 10mins.
Walking takes 20mins...
and the wait for the bus usually takes very long altho the journey is just 4 stops away.

BUT! Poor Baby!
His bicycle got stolen altho he bought it for only one month.
He was really upset.
I hope the person who stole his bike gets his retribution!!

So Baby bought another bike the week before last.
Very reluctantly though...coz he has to spend more money.
He bought a new nice but cheap bike.
It was in the same blue colour. Bikes come in limited colours! =(
This time, he even spent extra to install this metal thing at the back for me to sit.
Plus metal leg rest thing to put my feet.
He is soooo sweet and considerate! =)
Coz with his old bike, I used to sit in front on the bar..
and it hurts my butt after awhile of sitting.

I think it is really fun to ride the bike with Baby.
Ok actually he is the one riding...im just sitting and enjoying the breeze.
I love to hug him from behind.
Feels like those old movies where the guy dates the girl,
and the girl will sit on his bicycle,
and they will go riding around under the moonlight,
basking in the sweet moments of love.
Romantic huh!

I feel like that when im on the bike with Baby.
I feel...very happy. =)

We may be poor.
But we are very happy.

Man Utd: Kings of England & Europe

I did not sleep for the whole of Wed night.
I only went to bed at 6am in the morning.
And so did Baby. He woke up at 730am again to go to work.
My bro din even sleep, he just went back to camp after the match.

N this is all because we stayed up the whole night to watch the UEFA Champion League Finals:
Manchester Utd vs Chelsea at Moscow.

And im glad i watched.
It was truly a very exciting match.

I was supporting Man Utd that night.
Unbelievable huh? For a Liverpool fan.
But i dun like Chelsea.
I wished it was Man Utd vs Liverpool.
I can still remember what it was like when
Liverppol won the UEFA Champions League Title in 2005 against AC Milan
...just 3 years ago.


Anyway Baby and my bro are hardcore Man Utd fanatics since young.
So it is good to be on the same side as them.
I was being a good gf and sister! Haha.
Besides i dislike Chelsea and Arsenal more than Man Utd.

Man Utd looked like they are in good shape in the first half.
2nd half was goaless, but this time round Chelsea dominated.
The 2nd half was especially exciting since Chelsea missed the chance to score..NARROWLY!...
when Drogba's and Lampard's attempted hit the post and then the bar.
Phew! What a relief for us!

Lady Luck was indeed not on Chelsea's side
altho they are performing better than Man Utd in that match.

They are really very SUAY when they lost on the penalty shootout due to John Terry's slip.
I thot it was all over for Man Utd when Ronaldo's shot was saved.
The whole extra-time episode was heart gripping.
But when it came to penalty shoot-out, my heart pounded so wildly in excitment and anticipation that I felt that it was gg to jump out of me.
It din help that my bro was standing and pacing nervously.
I was sitting at the edge of my sofa biting my thumbnail.

Baby, who was watching from home,
told me he was covering his eyes when Chelsea took their shots.
He smsed me "Hope luck is on Man Utd's side, since Chelsea hit the bar twice."

You cant imagine how happy we are when Anelka's shot was saved which determined Man Utd's win.
Me and my bro just jumped up and down for joy and gave each other high-5s.
Hahahaha!
I was so relieved that Man Utd won also because then baby will be happie
and he wun be all sad and moody for the next one week or so.
Wahahaha!
He can get realli badly affected whenever Man Utd loses a match.
Esp for a big match like this.

Anyway all these while, my nickname for Cristiano Ronaldo is "Drama Mama",
coz he is really super drama and attention seeking on the field!
Sometimes i really cant stand it.
All his very KUA ZHANG expressions and actions.
It proved that i was not the only one who thinks so when the papers called him a "theatrical hero".

Oh and my nickname for Wayne Rooney is "Rooney the Looney!"
Coz he can get quite mad sometimes.
I cant stand it when he takes off his shirt.
So fair, hairy and flabby! Eeks!

Oh and i feel really sad for Lampard.
I think he is cute!
He is probably the only Chelsea player that i like looking at. haha.

I feel very sad for John Terry.
He is a good player but his slip in the penalty shoot-out really caused him much agony and disgrace man.
I dun think anyone will ever forget that in history.
Sometimes...football is just so cruel.
Make one fatal mistake and you will be remembered and criticised for life.
He cried like shit. N i feel so sad for him.
Suay man...really suay...

Manchester United won both the EPL and UEFA Champions League Titles.


Congrats to Manchester United and all their fans!



After watching a few matches of late,
I feel like im falling in love with football all over again...like in the past.
I think Baby will be happy to hear this.
And i feel that my heart has softened against Man Utd.
I used to really dislike them
Maybe it is Baby's influence or wat but...
now I feel that...they are not so bad afterall =)

I wonder when will be the next time Liverpool wins a title...

Happy 3rd Year Anniversary

Altho I have been feeling kinda down and moody of late,
but there has been a series of happy events that kept my mood up.

This is a backdated post.

Last Wed, 14 May 2008,
Was our 3rd Year Anniversary.

Congratulations Baby!
This has been my longest relationship ever and
You are crowned my longest bf ever!!!

The closest was about 2 years and 11 mths?
Eh...but im not his longest gf. His longest was almost 4 yrs i think.
F**k.
But im his 2nd and last gf.
Yay!

We are now into our 4th year together...
and Baby says there's still a lifetime of many years to come. =)

Anyway on the actual day,
as it was a working day,
Baby and I went for a simple dessert after dinner at a place which holds many memories for us:
Cheescake Cafe!
We had dessert there on the day we got together, 14 May 2005.

I had my fave peppermint tea and strawberry oreo cheescake
and Baby had his fave camomile tea and tiramisu.



On Sat, we went to celebrate with a nice dinner.
Original plans was to go to Il Lido at Sentosa,
which was the place that i have always really wanted to go,
coz i think it is romantic and nice to be having my fave italian food and
enjoying the sea breeze and the view of the South China Sea.

But altho we made bookings, we eventually decided not to go becoz:
1. Baby was not really a fine dining person and it wud be selfish of me to wanna go to the place that only I wanna go.
2. On 2nd thots, the weather is so hot lately that im afraid it may be hot and humid, and we will feel uncomfortable in al fresco dining.
3. Baby really loves and wanna go for nice buffets.

So we decided to go for nice hotel buffets instead.
Which hotel has the best buffet?
The Line at Shangri-La of coz!
But alas! It was not meant to be as it was fully booked!
So we made reservations for the next bext option at
Melt - The World Cafe at Oriental Hotel instead.

I know that Baby would be happy, and I was too.

We went shopping in the afternoon before gg for our nice dinner.
N it was a really good day coz i got to drive my dad's new car (finally!!!)
and use it for the whole day coz he and mummy was away in batam.

In the end, it is actually a lamb.
So we had some. The server carved some meat out for us.
I felt so cruel.

It was really quite big and they served lotsa variety of super yummy desserts!
All looked super pretty.
They had our fave waffles and ice-cream!
Plus a pretty Fondue Fountain!

We set out to go for 14 plates (7 rounds each - 1 round of appetiser, 4 main course and 2 desserts),
and we managed to do that!
We ate for a whopping 3 hours!!!
But we ended up super full till i wanted to vomit
and i think i had indigestion the next day.

They had different kinda cuisines there.
Italian, Thai, Indian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Local, Seafood, etc.
Lotsa variety!

We so wanna go to Morton's Bar one day to try their famed Martinis!
It is happy hour from Monday to Friday, 5-7pm!
Cant wait till Baby can take leave after his 6 mths probation into his new job.
Den we can go during happy hour. =)

N one day, I wanna eat at Morton's!!!

Disappointed.

I have been greatly disappointed today.
Yet again.
I dunno how much more of such disappointments i can take.

I have done all that I can already.
Tell me what else can i do?
I really don't know anymore.

Suddenly i dunno what im searching for anymore.

I dun dare to hope anymore.

And somehow...
I feel like im not getting the support and help that i need.

LY says it's withdrawal symptoms from lack of shopping.

I went to Guess sale on Friday,
and i felt like i was finally let out of my leash.

With much discipline,
I only bought ONE top! Yay!

I wanted to buy this black silk-satin Guess blouse with diamante buttons very badly too.
It looks like smthg from Bebe!



But it was very low cut.
Too low cut for work. It wud be considered indecent exposure in office environment.
N because of the material, i think it will look very weird if i wear a tube inside.
The blouse was also very fitting (XS), so i think there will be ruching at the buttons if i wear a tube inside.
Den not nice alry! =(
In itself, I think the blouse looks realli nice on me!
But if i take Size S, it will be too big for me...
What a dilemma.

In the end i din buy it coz it is very ex...
about $90 after discount (original price $125).
If i had income flowing i wudnt think much about it.
But the fact is that i dun.
So i had to think 3 times before buying.

I wanted to buy a pair of HEELS that i have been eyeing from Guess too!
It costs $189 but it is finally on sale at 50% off!!!
It is has a patent quilted surface.
But they din have my size in black anymore.
I was so tempted to buy the gold pair.
But it looks too flashy and tai-tai for me. Haha.
Black is safe and versatile.

So i went to Guess Footwear outlet at Raffles Shopping Center where i first saw the black pair before the sale.
And lo and behold!
There is ONE LAST PAIR of that shoe in BLACK.
And it is IN MY SIZE!
Yippee!
I felt so darn happie =)




Subsequently...
I walked past River Island. Also having SALE. Spent $$$ again.
I walked into Topshop sale. Nothing nice...luckily!
Den i walked into Miss Selfridge Sale. Spend $$$ again much to my...er..dismay. Haha!

Here's a list of what i bought over the weekend:
Guess: 1 Lace Spagh Top ($55), 1 pair of heels ($90)
River Island: 1 Top ($40), 1 pair of flat pumps ($35 not on sale but cheap!)
Miss Selfridge: 1 Cardigan Top ($35), 1 Bolero Shrug Crop Top ($35)

2 pairs of shoes and 4 tops only!
Quite disciplined right? I hope...
But Baby says i cannot buy anymore...
Coz im supposed to only spend $100 but i spent almost $300.
Nvm, im alry very happie with my purchases!

Been there previously at PS Cafe with my girlies,
back there again last Fri evening with my girlies to have some yummy wine and food at
The Wine Company.

Too bad Soph cudnt join us coz she went to Hkg with her hubby.
But sweet Shaojun came to join us!
Her bf had to work awfully late on a friday night,
so she offered to give us a lift to Dempsey while killing some time.
So we asked her to join us!
It was a pleasure having you with us babe!
We had so much fun laughing and gossiping! =)
