My Happy Long Labour Day Weekend

What a nice long weekend! =)

Wed evening - Met my dear Swing Girls for dinner at Vivo!
It has been a pretty long time since i last met them.
I cudnt make it for the last 2 gatherings they had at the end of last year due to work.
This gathering is our first this year!
Too bad Jo cant make it last min due to work.

Started off pretty hilariously all thanks to JL.
Her bag strap broke.
And instead of gg to buy a new bag, she insisted on gg to Daiso to buy some strings.
Typical JL who always nvr fail to make all of us laugh.

We proceed to have my fave Haagen Daz ice-cream after dinner.
We had yummy Brownie Explosion and some peach waffle thing (forgot the name).


So cute! Look at the little hearts in the yellow dots!


JL kept complaining that the ice-cream serving was very small.
Much smaller than expected.
Much smaller than wat it seemed to be on the pictures of the menu.
So she placed her hand over the serving to illustrate the actual size of the serving and how small it actually is, since photos cant tell the size.
N i tell ya, she has realli realli small hands.
She has the smallest hands among all of us.

Thurs (Labour Day holiday) - Spent with Baby
We were supposed to go jogging at East Coast to lose weight & tone up!
esp since we have been eating so much lately.
But in the end...
Baby's brother said wanna go out for early dinner n he was treating.

Nice dinner or jog.
Which one would you choose?
Well, we went with the OBVIOUS choice.
Coz it was simply too tempting!

So instead of gg to East Coast to jog,
we went to East Coast for sumptuous SEAFOOD DINNER at International Seafood restaurant!
We had yummy sambal kangkong, black pepper crab and chilli crab etc...with beer!
Gosh...so sinful!

Friday - Lunch with Dilka, followed by shopping w Mummy, cousin Joey & nephew Baby Damien!

He has gotto be the cutest, most adorable Baby!!!
Even cuter than Baby's new baby niece Lizzie.
My nephew is one week older than Baby's niece.
And they are btoh born in Feb and are only about 2.5 months old.

Baby came to look for us after his work too just to take a look at Baby Damien!
It's his first time seeing him.

He's so curious that he likes to look ard.
He's so CUTE and CHUBBY!
I love to carry him!
But he is actually pretty heavy!
Good for me coz i can tone up my arms. Hahaha!

Ok moving on...
Sat - Spent with Baby...again.
We went Bugis to walk walk and EAT.
Haha. We were pretty bored.
Nothing much to do in Singapore...
So our fave pastime is eating!

I have been watching this korean show "My Girl" lately on DVD,
and it caused me to crave for Korean food so much!
We had teabreak at Bugis junction basement.
Ate this very nice giant chicken sausage from this korean stall selling Korean Street Food!
Coated with yummy chilli sauce!


Baby and his recent weekly craving for xiao long bao.


Guess what we had for dinner?
Yep! Korean Food at a korean restaurant along Liang Seah Street.
We ordered BBQ beef set and Kimchi Seafood Soup set.
The seafood soup had generous yummy ingredients like squid, clams, mussels, prawns and crab!


I know i shud be guilty for eating so much over the long weekend.
So I went jogging yesterday on my own!
Did some mini workout exercises at home too.
Wanted to go jog again today but!
Im having muscle ache all over!
*groans*
I better exercise more often =(
