2 weekends of Flea Markets!

Was at the 8 Days Celebrity Car Boot Flea Market 2 Sundays ago.
What attracted me there was a chance to see and kiss Elvin Ng!
So handsome! Haha!

But in the end, i chickened out when i was there.
Coz he is sitted on top of a Chevrolet via a staircase platform so everyone can get a good view of him.
Which means if i pay $10 to kiss him, I'll have do it up on the platform where he is,
and since it is elevated, everyone near and far will have a good view!
On top of that, there is a camera-man and videoman who are constantly taking shots and filming the whole 15 mins that Elvin is there at his kissing booth.
I dun want unwanted attention and publicity pls.
It's so embarassing for someone my age.

True enuff, the photos of some of the gers who bravely went up for a photo opprtunity and to kiss Elvin Ng,
had their pictures splashed over a feature in 8 Days.

Oh boy....Elvin sure looks realli boyish...n super SHY!
I have a soft spot for boyish and shy looking guys!
Like my Baby Nic Nic! Hehe...

Those gers are so brave...
I envy them.
Haha i know im usually very gung-ho
But when it comes to things as big as the media,
Im realli scared of embarassing myself.

I had a great time at the flea market w Baby as i got myself a few cheap n great buys!

The following week, i had my own flea market with Yanz!
She rented a stall at the LIME flea market at Youth Park behind Cineleisure.
It was so fun trying to sell off my new and preloved clothes and bags,
and Yanz handmade earrings and imported brass necklaces.




Yanz is so sweet to give me her one n only last piece of butterfly brass necklace!
She also exchanged a brass necklace and a pair of handmade earrings
with the stall next door to get me the Hello Kitty lipgloss from H&M that i wanted!

No more best frens at work

One left...now the other.
Last friday was my other best fren's last day at work.
Two months after Mr Toh left us.
*Sobz*
I went to work today with NO best fren.
Luckily i will be moving on to greener pastures soon too.
3 more weeks....hopefully there are some flowers for me to pick as well. Haha!
Poor Adonz will be so lonely w/o us.
But she will be outstationed for 6mths in Thailand starting Jan 08.
So everything works out perfectly.

We had a nice lunch at Pasta Waraku - Central on Dilkz' last day.
Somehow we ended up taking pictures against the same backdrop!
Aiyah...we were in a hurry coz it was alry almost 2.30pm! Way past our lunch time!

Had a belated bday dinner with my parents at Su Korean restaurant at Boat Quay!
Im crazy over Korean food!




Had a super fun weekend shopping!
Saturday was spent with my dear gers LY and SQ. We spent the whole day (11hrs!) shopping and KTV!
Sunday was spent w Baby shopping at the 8Days Celebrity Car Boot Flea Market and at Expo.
I bought so many things and spent so much money.
Was supposed to buy Xmas gifts but i ended up buying everything for myself!
Im such a bad ger.
Shall blog about this another time with more photos!
Esp photos of Elvin Ng!!! Hehehe!

24!

Turned 24 on 24 Nov.
I think being 24 is nice. 24 is a nice number...and a nice age.
Not too old, not too young.
Still qualify as a sweet young thing, yet becoming mature and womanly.
Enjoy while it last!

Wanted a quiet and simple birthday and I got it!
Booked a deluxe room with harbour facing balcony at Pan Pac.
Why do i always go to Pan Pac? Coz it is damn cheap for me!
5 Star hotel but i only paid $200++ becoz of corporate rate.
Soph's Hen Night at Pan Pac the other time cost only $170 for a normal deluxe room!
Must enjoy the corporate rates while it lasts!

Been to 4 rooms in Pan Pac within 4 mths this year.
And all 4 rooms are different from each other!
1. Presidential Suite during my cousin's wedding in Aug
2. Deluxe room during Soph's Hen Night
3. Bridal Suite during Soph's wedding night
4. Deluxe room with balcony and harbour view on my bday





Main area looks the same for all deluxe room but the toilets are different!
Much bigger here with separate bathtub, shower cubicle and toilet bowl cubicle.


After that, it was swimming time!
We went to check out the pool and to go for a quick tan!




But by the time we were there and settled down...er...the sun kinda went off alry as it was alry 5pm. Dammit!
But it was still very fun lying there photowhoring and spying on ppl.
There were fat and hairy ang moh men...and busty ang moh women.
But the ang moh women there are not sexy one...no Jessica Albas ard.
Either busty but saggy or slim but flabby. Got old and wrinkly ones also.
No cute male ang mohs also.
Boo hoo. No eye candy for us! =(



Had a nice yummy dinner at Tony Roma's...
Was full to the max!
The ribs and mash potatos are realli nice...



Im realli quite sad that Sophia had to go on last min biz trip.
Really missed her.
N im sad that Daph cant make it last min on the actual day too.
Am really disappointed as she promised she will be there! =(
Oh well...
But i still had a lot of fun with my besties and bf, all whom I love so much!

After a very full dinner...we went for short walk before gg back to the hotel.
Cam-whoring time again!

Busy November

Have not been blogging lately...
Been really busy and occupied.
Facing quite a few major changes in my life right now.
But I am happy with change.
Change is good.
Come year 2008, I will be taking a brand new step into the future,
into something different.
I hope im able to adapt and survive.

Recently am really bugged down with work.
Have been staying late in the office almost everyday.
Year-end is always a very busy and stressful time for me.

Helped Baby with his new refurbished room.
Contractor came to repaint his whole room...it is now in a very nice shade a light limey green.
Gives a soothing yet cheery look. I like!
Coz i chose the colour. Haha!
Spent lotsa moolah$$$ to get a new bed, mattress, pillows, quilt, high threadcount bedsheets, and a new 32inch plasma TV!
With promo of a free home theatre system somemore...coz TV is a new model.
Spent one whole saturday cleaning, mopping, re-arranging furniture and repacking everything Baby has!
i felt like a true-blue full time housewife.
But i dun mind! Coz it is quite fun!
Me and Baby were like a married couple!
Yay!


Went for Linkin Park concert on 13th Nov as well!
Super happening!
Got the 2nd most expensive standing tickets.
Crowd was so wild that i got stepped on 8 times by 2 different ppl.
One on my left and one on my right.
So shitty.
But Baby din get stepped on at all!
Im always so SUAY. Dammit!
My first time to a ROCK concert.











Next thing to look forward to in November:
