Got woken up this morn by some idiot who called my hp. Picked it up and it was UOB HR. Great, i got thru 2nd round of shortlisting and they asked me to go down for interview....tmr. Best..im leaving for Bangkok tmr! So how? Sianz. Earliest she can arrange for me is 2pm. Not too bad lah, since i have to reach airport at 630pm, shud have enuff time. Position is to join a new team set up for Global Business and Product Development, doing marketing activities. Sounds pretty cool. I din apply for the position cuz i din noe about it but apparently they got my resume from the NTU Career Service or smthg. Lucky me.
Forgot to mention about the Borneo Motors 3rd round interview. There are 5 candidates left now, all eyeing for the 2 positions of management trainee. I guess each round they will eliminate one candidate. I dunno how i fared, but i dun feel confident. Somehow i feel that i might not be able to get thru this round. Im not that smart, n i was tokking rubbish n smoking crap all the way. Duhz...not very intellectual. Pray hard and cross my fingers that i'll pull thru n make it!
One more day till Im flying off to Bangkok on our very own Singapore Airlines! Hot fave airline huh? Been such a long time since i last flown on it. ~Sings "All my bags r packed im ready to go..."~ hehe. Im so excited about my trip that im heck-caring about my interview tmr. No mood or time to prepare for it at all. Fuck it...as usual, i'll juz tok some nonsense and ACT smart. wahaha! Typical me.
If any of u guys need anything from thailand, juz sms me to let me noe k! I've got roaming on my cell phone. Gonna take lotsa lotsa crazy pics once again! Yay! *excited excited* Rem to miss me while im gone hor! Hiakz.

Power trippin'
My unlucky streak is back. My house had a power failure yesterday and bcoz of that, my comp cant work well anymore. Itz lagging n hangng badly everytime i switch it on. So tt means i cant use it n have to use my family comp in the living room. SICK. I cant live w/o my comp! Dunno watz wrong w it but i guess smthg in my comp is burnt or spoilt. Fuck.
N im falling sick again. Coughing again. I hate my throat coz i've got a sensitive throat n i get infections very easily. Juz when im jetting off to bangkok soon i have to fall ill.
Yep, jetting off the bangkok on thurs! For 5 days! Yippee! So excited n i cant wait for it. Go there to shop n eat! Gonna spend 5 full days with my Baby! N gonna go for shopping n manicure n massage w Candy darlin'. We love being pampered n acting like rich tai-tais! But im not lah...im so poor...Candy is the rich girl, while im juz Cinderella. *bleugh* Juz got my pay yesterday...not much but gonna splurge it all in bangkok.
Lately i picked up a new habit! I started reading the newspapers everyday! im such a good girl right? I finally understand why adults always like read the newspapers. Coz itz sooo interesting! So many things to read n learn about! I dunno why i used to not like reading newspapers. Mebbe coz the newspapers are juz plain smelly n leaves my fingers black. Mebbe coz i was still young n thot that there r better things for me to do. Not a very intellectual me. But itz all changing now! Juz like when u grow older, u start eating ur veggies. Er..yah i still hate veggies but at least im eating more now compared to last time!hehe.
Im also back to reading Xiaxue's blog. Used to read a lil' den i clean forgotten about it. Now that i get reminded of her coz of the big news about her blog being hacked into, i started reading again. N i think she is so funny and bimbotic! *hurhurhur* Interesting! Her blog's all pink and nice and have everything. But my blog has got music and hers dun! haha! *nanananana* So i win in that area! yay!...silly me...always wanna win ppl..dunno for wat oso...siao char bo. As if can get $$$ lidat. *boo* =(
Hot topic this week:Smoking!
Pubs, clubs, coffeeshops and hawker centres r banning smoking. Yay! Means no more smelly smoke blowing in my face when i eat or drink and dance! Yeah i noe some of u may say that sometimes i oso got smoke when i club. BUT! Im not gg to anymore. Dun ask me why i did that in the 1st place. Juz felt nice. Anyway 2nd-hand smoke is very different n much smellier than 1st-hand smoke. It contains twice the amount of nicotine and tar, raising the risk of lung cancer in passive smokers. Poor us. haha, i think my risk of lung cancer quite high coz of my workplace n my love for clubbing. N the irony is that i have to wear this shirt that says "Nice Lungs" across the chest at work. Itz the waitress' uniform. It is to encourage ppl to quit smoking. Yet everyone in the pub smokes. All the staff except me. So only im fit to wear the shirt!
There is also this Fresh Air for Women Campaign to encourage women to quit smoking. Guess who are the ambassadors? Amongst Claire Chiang and MP Dr. Lily Neo...is Xiaxue! omigod...she looks too bimbotic n ah lian to be ambassador leh. Haha but ok lah...mebbe teens can relate to her. Anyway smoking will leave ur skin to sag and get wrinkled so u will age very fast! Smoking is oso bad for ur baby next time. Itz in the papers today that researchers found out that women who smoke during pregnancy may raise the risk of having their child displaying unruly and anti-social behaviour. So dun smoke! Im gg to stop too! Or Baby sure super pised w me. hehe.
Talking about babies, Nic n I have alry came up with names for our future kids! If we have a girl, we r gonna name her 'Estelle', my fave name! Itz a Spanish name that stands for star. N if itz a boy, we r gonna name him 'Ashton' coz it sounds like such a charming n good-looking boy's name! Actually I wanted 'Raul', also Spanish (some of u may alry noe tt i like that name), but im afraid ppl find it hard to pronounce n it sounds prone to lotsa teasing. Yay! ~Nicholas' n Fiona's kids: Estelle Lim and Ashton Lim!~ Nice Nice!! Dear frens dun copy hor!

A Happie Strawberry Ger
Yesterday (fri 29/07) was such a happie n exciting day for me. Cuz I passed my driving practical test! YAY! Im now a qualified driver...finally! Accummulated 14 points. But i noe the stupid tester was purposely trying hard to give me points as much as he can. Too bad...i still pass cuz im good, u asshole! haha! I was so happie, i kip smiling n smiling to myself the whole day when i was out with Nic Nic. Up next: 3rd round interview with Borneo motors!
Backtracking a lil', I went clubbing w my swing girls on wed at dbl o and o-bar. Met LiYing n a group of good frens there. Was so happie to see them! While i was there, i kept getting picked up by ang mohs, n indians n malays...so weird! Suddenly, i keep having a lot of contact w ang mohs recently both at clubs n at my workplace at clarke quay. Do i look like an SPG to u? I dun think so. N den, stupid me kena drunk, coz i had too much shots. Whisky shots, remy shots, tequila shots, watever shots...next time i shall juz stick to normal housepour drinks man. Too long nvr drink liao, over-estimated myself. Or was i juz too thirsty? I kept puking in the toilet till i felt so bloody terrible n i had to get Jialing to call Nic to come take me home. My dearest frens took such great care of me n i realli appreciated it n love them so so much. So sorry for spoiling ur fun gers, realli felt bad. Thx so much for looking out for me!
Poor Nic had to work early next morn but he still came to fetch me. He was so sweet to me..altho he was super worried n a lil' unhappie tt i was so wasted..he still din scold me n was so so patient w me. He drove a lil' n i had to puke again. Ended up puking n then falling aslp at the roadside, on this concrete marble slab thing. We left the club at 2am but i reached home onli at 330am. Guess i slept pretty long outside n in the car. Baby was so sweet n patient to juz let me rest n slp while he sat quietly next to me n waited. All in all, i had a hangover the next day n still had to go for my driving lesson (my last one!). But i survived. Next time, i shall not drink so much again. (n i always say that. Juz ask Candy, haha!)

Exciting week
Some highlights of my week!
Tues 19/07: Went for interview at Borneo Motors. Everything was gg well until they asked me to speak in mandarin! Freak...there goes my chance. They asked me to choose 2 pairs of words from a list of 13, and explain in chinese why i prefer a particular word. Eg. from a pair Networking vs Guan Xi, i had to chose either one n explain in mandarin the reason for my preference. Fuck..i was struggling like mad to speak in mandarin. But surprisingly i got thru to 2nd round n they asked me to write an essay n email back to them in 3 days. I had to choose a topic on the spot out of 10 topics, n seriously the topics look like either General Paper or marketing exam questions. After which if i get thru to the 3rd round, i will have to meet a panel of directors n managers, 4th round would invlove a biz case to solve n in the 5th round i will have to meet the CEO. Freak so stressful! Dun even think i can make it so far man..so many rounds! Give up lah.
Den went home to change into smthg slack to make my way to work. Got stalked on the mrt! This guy approached me n started tokking to me. Pick-up line was "Excuse me miss? Ur top is very nice, where did u buy from?" and frm there onwards tried to have a conversation w me and den the true question came up: "Can we be frens?". Argh! Pls lor, he is so old. Looks like 30plus yrs old n he works as an engineer at HDB. He even gave me his namecard. He was supposed to alight at novena but he followed me all the way to dhoby ghaut! Kept pestering me to give him some form of contact. To shake him off, i gave him my email add in the end. Sick desperate ppl.
Wed 20/07: I got to work behind the bar today! As a Barmaid! Yippee! Cuz the bartender called in sick. So the bar manager needed a helper. Seriously i think he likes me. Keep saying i very pretty. n instead of choosing the other waitress to be the barmaid, he asked me instead. I was so delighted! They wanted me to extend my working hours but i promised to meet Baby, so i onli extended by 1 hour after my shift. It was so fun learning to mix all the drinks! But so far i can onli do simple drinks like ur regular housepours n beer.I suck at getting the draft from the tap at first but soon i got the hang of it i guess. I LOVE being a barmaid! Cuz i get to dance ard behind the bar too!
By the way, i have a new found fave drink...SHANDY! Let me intro u guys, itz beer with sprite/7-up/soda w a cherry garnish popped in it. It tastes super good! Intro it to Baby n he loves it too! itz now our fave drink! N i noe how to make it! Made for Baby last night. Nice nice! But if u dun like beer...den forget it. haha. But itz recommended, must try!
Baby Liv Erica Lim was born on 13th July. Itz Nic's first bro's daughter. Same bday as LiYing! And today, 25th July, Nic's 2nd Bro's daughter is born! Dunno watz the name yet, gonna go to the hospital later to find out. Wow! Baby Nic is now an Uncle with 2 baby nieces! Plus his Big Princess Baby Fiona...so he has got 3 babies...how lucky are you Nic!
Oh yah and my new fave food is...French Toast hongkong-style! Yum! Im getting real FAT...
