Finally have the time to blog. Been busy since i came back from my trip.
Lotsa work waiting for me in the office!
Am so bored to be back in Singapore...there's nothing much to do.
Singapore's streets seem boring...
No moolah$$$ left to shop...
Shopped so much in Hkg alry...i shud not shop for the next 1 month!
Here's are some of the junk i bought from my trip:
Dresses, Tops, Bottoms, Bags...
Slippers, Korean drama DVDs, maggi mee, chocolate fingers and chewing gum!
Disneyland food and stuff, bracelets, earrings, belts, Hello Kitty stuff...

These are the best!
I wanted to bring it to Singapore so much!
But Baby checked out that it would costs SGD$1 million to franchise it. WTF!
These donuts costs SGD$2.30 per piece!
Bought in dozens, it will cost about SGD$1.90 each. F**king ex!
But it tastes wonderful!
On Day 1, we took the earliest flight on Cathay Pacific to HongKong.
Transferred from Hkg airport to Shenzhen via coach.
It's summer over here and it is freaking hot!
Much hotter than Singapore at 35 degree celsius!
On Cathay Pacific...
Checked-in at Shangri-la Hotel in Shenzhen. I love the hotel!
Nice, clean, comfy and great service!
Plus they've got LCD flat screen tv and provide a box of ice-cubes at night to cool us down in this hot summer! Love it!
Us having our late late lunch cum early dinner at one restaurant at Luo Hu Shopping Centre. Ordered dim sum and one big plate of fried beef noodles.
Costs only SGD$20 in all! CHEAP!
We also went shopping at Dongmen Street during the 2 days we were there.
The place was pretty big and it was like a maze. You can realli get lost in there!
The next day, we went to Windows of the World!
It was pretty fun as all the main attractions of the world are replicated and brought into this park.
Seems like we travelled the world in a day! =)
But it was super hot. We were burning under the hot sun.
Temperatures hit a record high of 38 degree celsius!

After that i have a tan-line across my chest coz i was wearing a tube. Haha!
And we realli felt like pigs being roasted in an oven. No kidding!
After Windows of the World, we went back to Dongmen to continue our shopping from the last evening as we have not covered the whole place.
But there was nothing much to buy...coz China's fashion isnt fantastic.
N the shoes sold there realli sucked. Not my type at all.
But if you realli look hard enuff and if you r lucky, you may stumble upon some realli good shopping finds there!
We went to meet Baby's friends for dinner after that at Wan Xiang City shopping centre.
It was one of the more upmarket shopping centre in Shenzhen.
Baby's frens were the travel agents he works closely with from China.
2 ladies...who were realli nice and friendly.
They took us to a realli nice high-class Shanghai cusine restaurant for dinner - Li Yuen restaurant.
Had so much good food and fun talking (yes i spoke in Mandarin) that i forgot to take photos!
So took photos of the poster that was advertising the restaurant along the train underpass. Haha.
We were told that this year's summer was Shenzhen's hottest summer in 40 years!
And it was unfortunate that we have met with it.
Baby's frens were also very impressed with my supoosedly lousy Mandarin! Haha!
Coz Baby's mandarin was worse than mine and yet he was the only one who can coomunicate with them properly over in this company.
So they thought Baby's standard is Singapore's chinese standard!
They were worried they were unable to communicate with me when we met up.
But to their surprise they could talk more with me than Baby! Haha!
They could speak English too, but were more conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Finally! Someone who doesnt laugh at my Mandarin.
Everyone laughs when i speak Mandarin in the office. =(
After that it was back to the hotel and we set off to Hongkong on the 3rd morning.
HongKong was fun fun fun!
There were much more things to eat and more things to buy!
Altho i have been to HongKong 2 years ago, I still love gg to Hkg so much.
We reached Hkg at 3pm, but were unable to check into our hotel - Eaton.
Apparently, there was some screw-up at the hotel side and they claimed that our agent did not re-confirm our booking and so the hotel just cancelled our booking.
Fucking excuse...coz our agent called the day before to reconfirm our booking and our requests!
So in the end they were fully booked and cudnt give us any rooms at all.
They did not even have a room to upgrade us.
I was so so pissed and felt like my holiday was ruined, and so i burst into tears.
We waited for our agent to settle with the hotel, but to no avail.
So we waited even longer for them to find another hotel for us.
Finally, everything was settled after 3 freaking hours.
And there was one last room at Prudential Hotel, just above Jordan MTR.
There was another room avaialble at a higher class hotel - The Luxe Manor.
But it was pretty far from the MTR station...1 km away!
So we took Prudential instead.
Luckily we were able to find another hotel. If not, i think we have to slp on the streets.
Altho Prudential supposedly costs slightly more than Eaton, we did not have to pay a single cent extra of coz.
Baby's agent took care of it. Else i will realli start killing!
The hotels in HongKong realli kinda sucked compared to our Shangri-la stay in Shenzhen.
It was pale in comparison!
We finally set off from our hotel at 6pm to go to Mongkok.
Went to Langham Plcae Shopping Centre to walk and have our dinner.
The shopping centre is realli nice!
There is this long escalator that brings us from the bottom straight to the top. Think there are about 12 storeys?
It was pretty scary looking down from the excalator.
Anyway my beloved Liverpool FC was supposed to be there for some autograph signing session the following week as they were supposed to be in Macau.
Should have gone to Hkg on week later so that i could catch them there!
So now there was some exhibitions on Adidas and Liverppool over there.
We had dinner at this nice cafe called Match Too.
The lady boss looks very pretty! She looks like Sammi Cheng!
N she has short hair like Sammi Cheng! Haha!
The food was yummy too.
I had korean spicy beef bimbimbap thingy and Baby had some italian rice.
More on Hongkong next time.
