We went KTV-ing at Kbox 2 weeks ago after work.
It was a farewell thingy for my support exec Jane...
She calls me 'boss', coz im the manager that she reports too.
But I dun like that at all.
All bosses are hated. Haha!





In case u r wondering, no lar, i didnt hog the mic lar.
I just happened to post the photos that captured me singing.
There r 2 or 3 colleagues who can sing REALLY WELL!
I feel so damn shy singing with them coz i sound like such a frog singing next to them =(
They r so good, machiam can take part in project superstar leh...

We had a new batch of interns that came in two weeks ago.
6 guys from Temaek Poly.
Addition to our 6 interns from NTU.
And it was one of their birthday...
20 years old only, so young...my bro's age.
I miss the times when i was 20 yrs old. Hahaha!

Yeah i know i look like sucha greedy pig. But im a happie pig!



Den just last Tuesday, one of my colleagues found a kitten at Arrival Hall!
It was lost and roaming ard.
It is soooo cute!
Got me so darn excited! =)











We had to send it away coz we cant keep the kitten in the office.
So we wrapped it up in a towel that we specially bought for her (coz she was shivering in cold coz of aircon),
N packed here away in a box.
A colleague knew someone from another dept who is a cat lover and rears cats.
He said she will know how to take care of the cat.
Bye bye Kitty!
See? The Kitty looks so sad to go after playing w us for a day...

My whole dept plus the interns threw a farewell lunch for me and Jane.
So funny, BOTH manager and her officer are leaving.
We had lunch at Earle Swensons.
It is so much nicer than Swensons...but of coz also much pricier.

Puspa and I shared "Topless 5".
We were both desserts and ice-cream lovers.
Simply delicious!
Rum Raisin, Strawberry, Sticky Chewy Chocolate, Cookies and Cream & Macadamia Nut.
We ate everything up!

The one with the Straight Hair

Ok, I did it today.
I rebonded my hair straight.
Bye bye curls...

One last shot with my curls at Kimage salon today.


My hairstylist din help at all. He added on to my heartache and hesitation.
The first thing he said to me was:
"Wah! 你越来越美了 hor! 你的 curls december perm 的 right? 还很 curly 很美 leh."

And I was like: "HUH! Den shud i still straighten it?"
He replied: "Ok one lar. A lot of ppl also perm already den straighten. Some straighten already den perm.
You bored of your permed hair already right?"
Me: *nods*
Hairtsylist: "Den ok lor!"
Coz there is currently an April promo at kimage. For all perm or rebonding, it costs only $168.

I was so worried that my hair will turn out very dry after i straighten it
since i last permed only 5 mths ago in Dec.
So i requested that he does treatment for me.
So he did this Kerastase Oil treatment for me. $35 plus 20% discount.
Feels nice! =)
So total i paid $192 for my hair today. Cheap!

My hair stylist wanted to cut fringe for me.
Those that is straight across the forehead.
Like these Rainie Yang pics.


But i was scared! I scared i look weird coz i nvr really try before.
So he cut short sweeping fringe for me.
The sweeping fringe was supposed to look smthg like this:


But because the fringe is also straightened, it does not "sweep" to the side.
It keeps falling straight downwards!
Stubborn hair!

So i decided to just cut the straight fringe.
But he said it was too late.
He layered the fringe quite a lot already, so cant cut the straight fringe.
So he said that the next time i come by to colour and cut my hair again (which will prob be within the next 2 mths),
he will cut the straight fringe for me.
Hahaha...im so indecisive =(

Well, i guess it takes awhile to get used to my new hair.
Afterall, I had curls for more than 1.5 years.
I look like my old self long long time ago again!

Altho a part of me really wanna straighten my hair
coz im tired of having to spend 5-8 mins styling my hair everyday...
yet i realli love my curls.
I think straight hair is boring.
yet it is hassle-free.

But the main reason why im straightening my curls out is that...
Baby misses my straight hair.

He said that he miss the ger with straight hair that he first fell in love with.
He said he miss running his fingers through my hair.
He said he miss playing with my hair without having to think twice whether it will mess up my hair and risk making me irritated. haha.

He also said he wants me to look like Felicia Chin.
Crap!!!!!
He stumble upon this advert in 8 days where Felicia Chin did an ad for 933fm i think.
There, she looked very tanned (because of the lighting? I think she is quite fair in other ads and on tv)
and she had straight dyed hair that is slightly below shoulder-length.
Baby likes tan-looking girls with long straight hair and a nice butt.
When he first met me, i was a tan-looking girl with long straight hair with a nice butt in my short skirt.
So he wanted me to look like that again.
Haiz.....

Anyway i cant find that particular Felicia Chin Ad on the net...
The closest look that i can find online is smthg like the pic below???
But den again maybe not.
Coz in the ad im talking about, she had hair that is much straighter, more rebonded and slightly longer.


Smthg like this but nicer..more dyed...more sporty...not so flat...

So now, im having last minute panic attacks the day before im heading to the salon.
Im so worried that i might regret straighten my hair coz some part of me feel that i seem to look nicer with curls...
So I msged to Baby to tell him.

He replied:
"I think u will look pretty with straight hair. Don't worry baby, i'm sure you will be beautiful"

I hope so. =(

Altho he no longer look n stare lovingly at me for no reason at all, and say 'Baby you are so pretty' to me,
Altho he no longer greets me with a kiss everytime we meet,

Altho he always tease and make fun of me,
Altho he always bully me,
Altho he always fart in my face,
Altho he always never fail to laugh at me,
Altho he always complain that i eat very loudly,
Altho he always wanna argue with me,
Altho he never fail to irritate me and make me angry...

I still love my Baby very much.
Because I know i mean the world to him =)

There are times when i just want to punish him and eat him alive...


There are times i just want to shower him with hugs and kisses...


I guess that's how we add colour and spice into our relationship.
How we bicker till we fight and then say sorry and make up.
How our love still stands strong amidst everything.

I hope that it will always stay this way,
where the foundation will never be shaken.

A Week of Girl Frens.....& bf

I had a realli nice week of meeting up with my ger frens.
Love them to bits!

Met up with Caline for dinner on last Tues.
She's my pretty gerfren since JC times, thru uni till now...
It has been a long long time since i last met up and hung out with her.
Throughout our on-off relationship,
we get really 'ON' when we get are on.
Know wat i mean? Hahaha!
We always hit off so well n quickly everytime we meet...
altho we meet once in a long while.

In many ways, i think we are realli alike,
N i enjoyed myself so much with her.
All we did was to eat and talk...and we totally lost track of time!
We seem to have neverending things to talk about.
I am realli glad that i bumped into her at the airport's budget terminal - talk about coincidence since i hardly ever visit the budget terminal!
And that lead on to us keeping in touch more frequently n then this dinner meet up.
I hope the next time we meet wun be a long time after.
I guess we are both pretty determined to meet up often enuff to not lose contact! =)

We both love desserts so much that we had 2 dessert servings at the Jap restaurant we had our dinner at,
and another dose of ice cream waffles dessert at Gelare!
Yumz! =)
Another thing we have in common:
We both hate our high cheek-bones and the way it makes our faces look really fat on camera everytime!!! =(


Friday night out was with LY and Soph.
LY and Soph got bored after their evening movie and came all the way to Baby's house to look for me and Baby! =)
We played with cute Livvy for awhile in Baby's room before heading out to have nice desserts-cum-supper at Cheesecake Cafe.
I love Cheesecake Cafe!
We had my fave Strawberry Oreo Cheesecake, Chocolate Banana Cake, and yummy Chicken Wings!
Not forgetting my relaxing camomile tea w honey and the rest drank ice peach tea i think....hahaha!
I more high-crass!

Saturday's date was with my besties again, including Yanz this time.
We were planning to clubbing at Clarke Quay's The Arena again!
Yay!

Before that i met up with Baby and we had a little walk at Vivocity.
Camwhoring again! =)
I dunno what we are doing...acting siao?










Met up with the girls and we had yummy dinner at Central Mall's Waraku =)
I ate till i was very very very full.
I ate the remaining food that no one cud finish.
I ate up all the dessert that no one cud finish.
I juz dun like to waste food.
I think it is a good habit...but the only downside is that...
that's how i have been gaining all the weight.
Maybe i shud stop this dumb principle of mine.





Clubbing at The Arena.



It was a night of fun.
Yet i think we all had too much to drink.
End up Yanz and I had to take care of Soph n LY...hahaha!

The cab fare went up to a whopping $52!!!
Coz we went from Clarke Quay to Woodlands to Toa Payoh to Bishan to Kovan.
We had to send the two drunk gers home first *heart pain*
I bet the taxi driver feels damn lucky to get 4 silly gers onboard his cab!

I dun realli wanna go into the whole dramatic episode of all the pukes and craziness of it all.
Each of us had our fair share of puke stories.
So i shall just end it as that.

Should I? Should I not?

She doesnt give a damn.
But her boss does!

Senior Director called me personally on my hp on Tues.
He wants to talk to me.
Result of the talk?
I was left with nothing to say.
Every 'problem' that i voiced out was countered and 'solved' by him.
He offered me a transfer with immediate effect to a marketing position at 2 depts.
He said i can choose which dept i wanna go to.
He said 'Just tell me what you want.'
He had the power to do that.
He is influential.
He said he wants me to stay.
He seems to like/appreciate me...
But is he really sincere? Is it Real?
Does he really see potential in me?
Or am i just a number or a pawn at the end of the day?

I was happie to know that im wanted.
But yet...i dun like to be swayed and caught in a dilemma again.
The offer was a very good opportunity and it was tempting.
Yet...there were just too many things to consider.
There were just too many risks, and what-ifs.
It invites too much gossip.
Perceptions will be hard to change.
Expectations will be higher.
I feel like I will be watched closely.
There were more bad than good.
I dun wanna take the risk.

Once i have decided,
i shud not stay.
I shud never turn back.
Keep moving forward...

Or is it another wrong decision?...
Sigh.

Im gonna follow my heart.
Coz I feel that God speaks in my heart.
I hope i got the right message this time.
