Brewerkz!

Wanted to drink and chill out so badly...and i finally got my chance last Friday!
Went to Brewerkz at Clarke Quay with Baby darling for dinner and drinks after work.

Wanted to call my besties along...
but one flying overseas to look for her hubby and another one celebrating her fren's bday. =(

It has been a realli long time since Baby and i went out to chill..just the two of us.
And we had such a fun and hilarious time!
Makes me wanna do this every friday!

We managed to get a table at Brewerkz at 7.30pm and only left at 10.30pm.
Spent 3 hours there eating drinking chatting teasing laughing acting crazy.

We had beer, chicken quesidilla and some italian sausage calzone.

We also ordered 2 jugs of beer. One jug each.
Yum! I love to drink!

I love it when Baby smiles and laugh like this.
I think he looks like the happiest person in the world.
Selfish me hopes that he only laughs like that when he is with me...so that makes me the person he is happiest with and the reason why he is so happie.
And I think he looks so handsome when he smiles!

Jay Chou at Changi!

Finally can blog!
My comp kinda failed me for a week. Now it's fixed! Yay!

As most fans will be aware, last last Friday, 18th Jan, Jay Chou came to Singapore.
N my crazy bestie went for both his concerts on 18th and 19th Jan.
She's totally siao!

Anyway Jay touched down o 18th Jan at 1215pm at Changi Airport Termial 1 via Eva Air.
Being the super kay poh me...i needed something to hao lian about.
So i followed my fellow crazy colleagues to go receive Jay Chou.
Yeah..perks of working in the airport.

Den while waiting for Jay to disembark from the plane, I got introduced to his manager from Hype Records.
How COOL is that!
Supposed to keep in touch with her for future Meet & Greet events and celebrities meet up.
I guess this is the only exciting part about my job that im happie about. Haha!

So Jay finally emerged in sight...and stood outside the gatehold room while waiting for all his crew. His mum is with him too!
I cudnt take photos at this point because as a staff, i must act professional.
Plus there was airport police all around so i cant make it too obvious.
By the way, staff are not allowed to take videos or photos of celebrities in the airport.

But do you think i care?
NO.
As soon as his got on the travellator to get to the arrival hall (which is some distance away), i whipped out my pink Cammie, blended myself into the small crowd of fans who took the same flight as him, and started walking and snapping away.

The result?
Photos that are kinda blur coz i was walking as i was taking the photo!
I wasnt on the travellator so i had to walk extra fast to keep up!
I also ended up with photos that only captured his side and back view =(
He did turned to us and gave a shy smile and wave.
But i was too SLOW to capture that coz i got reallie excited that he was so close up to me! Less than 2m away lor!

My colleague told me that the lady in a hat is his mum.

But it is really exciting when u get to meet up with some mega celebrity and be so upclose and personal...
Esp when people out there are dying to be in your postion!

New job, new hope???

It has been really hectic at work.
Esp with the opening of T3 on 9 Jan.
Guess i joined at the wrong time.
They cheated me over!

On my first day at work, they told me that i have to report for work at 5.30am the next day for a live simulation of T3 opening.
On my first day, i worked overtime till 8pm plus!
Working hours is supposed to be 8.30am to 6pm.

Den they told me i have to do shift work from 9th till end of Jan.
AM shift - 5am to 4pm
PM shift - 3pm - 2am
So i gotto work one day AM shift, next day PM shift, and 3rd day off - in this cycle.
I was so upset after my first day of work coz this is realli not what i wanted to do and i hate doing shift work.
My bio-clock is turned upside down and so is my life.
I have to work even on weekends! Boohoo!

After working like this for one week, im realli exhausted.
I have been working about 11 to 12 hours everyday.
It made me miss my old job so much coz at least i dun have to put it such long hours.
It was tough but i kept myself gg.

Luckily for me, i received news just yesterday that i will be taken off shift duties.
T3 operations have more or less stabalized and the management is reducing manpower.
So come tomorrow, I will be placed back on normal office hours.
Yay!
I hope everything becomes much better after this, when i start on my real job scope as an asst airport manager taking charge of the airport's (T2) events and facilties.

Wish me luck peeps!

N I do miss my colleagues and frens back in my old job very much.
I hope this is a right move.
Even if it is not, I hope I can take back with me valuable skills and knowledge for my future undertakings.

I have been feeling so dejected and sian that i have been shopping and shopping.
Spent so much money alry. I think i shud seriously STOP!
I just bought 2 tops from River Island on my day off last Sat within less than 1 hour of shopping at vivocity.
N i bought a new Lancome eye cream and Clinique face moisturizer when i was having a break during my shift yesterday night at the airport.

Frens, whenever we go out together, pls stop me from buying anything until CNY period.
With the exception of neccesities of coz.
I dun nid any new year clothes or whatever coz i've got a lot of new clothes alry!
Hokays?
This means 4 weeks of shopping abstinence!
I need discipline!

New Year's Day Party

I've gotto back date my blog post coz i hardly have time to blog at all!
Been realli busy with my new job.
Life is even more hectic now compared to when i was at my old job! =(

New Year's Day 2008.
I thot 2008 will start off well, new beginning and new hopes for me.
But doesnt seem the case after i started work on 2nd Jan.

But anyway, here are my last moments in 2007!
There was a New Year's party at Baby's house which his eldest bro organized.
He and his wife invited their frens and colleagues and Baby n I get to invite a few of our closest frens too!
So i invited my usual besties, Sophia's hubby and Shiqian.

But sadly, Sophia's hubby fell ill with fever n chicken pox!
And Yanz had some other prior plans with her ex-sch council frens =(
But im glad LY and Shiqian kept to their promise and we had such a fun time!

We helped to make bruschettas! It tasted reallie yummy ok!





Shiqian wanna gobble up the food. So greedy. haha!
There was pork ribs, prok knuckles, nasi bryani, curry and a satay station cooking satay on the spot!

Happie New Year!
We had a crazy time with the champagnes, party poppers, foam sprays and confetti canons!




It was a huge mess after that.
But while everyone was busy clearing up. Lazy me was playing with my frens.
Shiqian and I were damn bo liao.
We managed to knot/bun up our hair nicely (we both have permed hair) withoutusing anything!
Smart eh?
LY cant. Hahaha!


Party ended at around 1am plus.
But in the end, we stayed in Baby's room and chatted till...4am plus!
Oops! So baby sent all of them home...all the way to ulu Woodlands!
By the time we are back in Baby's house to shower and sleep, it was already 6am.
It was exhausting...but we had a really good n fun time!

Xmas 2007

Xmas eve was my last day at work.
Was supposed to be last Friday, 21st Dec...but i had to extend my last service day coz they still needed my help at work.
Last Friday, my supposed last day - i worked till 10pm! WTF!

First half of Xmas eve was spent in the office.
I lead a mini committee to organize a Xmas Office Party. Was so busy the whole day tt i din even managed to take any pictures on my cammie in the office =(

Supposed to be let off at 3pm but i only managed to leave at 4pm.
I somehow always need to to work OT on days which im not supposed to...idiotic =(
Met Baby and went to his house for Xmas party with his family!
I love spending time w my Baby!
We were fooling ard just before dinner...drinking Heneiken wrapped in a Carlsberg beer jacket.

We had yummy pork knuckles, pork ribs, mash potatos, turkey, meat loaf, honey baked ham, salad, accompanied by cranberry sause, mustard and minced meat, red and white wine!

My present from Baby! Sony Cybershot leather carry case in pink!
It is weird coz i was just thinking to myself how nice it is if Baby bought me that for Xmas coz i wanted it but din think it was worth it to buy as it costs $55 for such a small albeit cute and pretty pouch. Was so happie coz I didnt tell him that i wanted it, yet he knows and bought it for me in the design i wanted! Aint that great! =)

Baby has passed the 'knowing his gf well enough' test! =)


Baby was also very sweet to handmake a Hello Kitty Xmas card for me.
He wrote some realli sweet n nice things in the card too (which i have erased it away in the pic due to privacy).
I was so touched! Altho he is not a very artsy person, I really appreciate the effort he took.
To me, the card looks very very nice which i will keep it forever!



And for Baby's present, i got him his fave band Linkin Park's Minutes to Midnight new edition cd, and a self-designed calendar!


Here are some pages of the calendar that i painstakingly designed. Took a few nights before it was completed and ready to be sent to the photo store for printing.





We also had a gift exchange session before having more drinks and chocolate log cake for dessert!

Today, Xmas day, we went for Xmas lunch with my family at Cafe Swiss, Swissotel the Stamford. It was pretty nice altho my daddy thinks it is realli overpriced for the food. Haha but i thot the food was pretty nice..esp the dessert!




I reallie ate a lot and spent a lot of money lately.
Im getting Fat and Broke.
Bought 2 pairs of Guess shoes at their sale on Sat.


On Sunday, Baby bought his new Acer Lappie! It looks realli nice and i love the webcam! haha!


I wanna buy a new lappie too! I want Dell's in white!

Anyway...
