My Bintan Trip - Part 1

Here are the photos from our Bintan Trip. The trip was so-so only. Baby, me, Candy n Sing Eu ARe never gonna visit Bintan again! Once is all you need to experience whatever there is to experience.

The only things i loved at Bintan were:
1. Beach - not fantastic but much cleaner, and sand is much finer than in S'pore. I dun even dare to enter S'pore's sea!

2.Lobster - Loved the 900g huge lobster that i picked for dinner. Succulent and big. I like....

3. Pool Bar - I loved sipping my Strawberry Tropical Smoothie in the pool!

4. Pool Slide - Wee! So fun!

5. Table soccer - It's free and Baby n I went crazy playing it

6. Laser Quest - The only fun thing we played for $10 (15mins). Coz it was my first time playing and I won! Woohoo!

Yep that's about it.

Day 1:

We were so hungry! So we went for a breakfast buffet. Little did we know that we're gonna eat the same food for the next 2 mornings. *gag*



Candy and Sing Eu went snorkelling! I chickened out coz im damn scared of live fishes swimming close to me!


Baby and I checking out the beach in the late afternoon. Was initially sunny but became cloudy after wards. See the sky? Half sunny, half filled w dark clouds.

There was a beach soccer with beach goal posts and beach soccer court! Haha! So we fooled around.

I'm lovin' it! There's a lot of meat! Must dig it clean! Costed us $135 just for this lobster leh. Total bill was $166 with drinks. Every main course came w a buffet of appetiser and dessert.


Clean! Left the shell only. Hehe! Im the champs!


It was Sing Eu's bday! At midnight, Baby and I went over to Cands' room to surprise him with a little slice of cake!

Sun Sea and Sand

Went to Bintan last Sunday for a 3D2N trip over the labour day holidays.
Came back on Tuesday night, and back in the office on Wed.
SIAN.
Going overseas tomorrow again.
To Sebana Cove (Johor) via a yacht for a golf event that I organized for our customers.
SIAN.
Anything to do with work = SIAN.

Bintan wasnt exactly super fun,
coz there is nothing much to do there except for the sun, sand and sea.
Unfotunately for us, it was pretty cloudy on the first day and
it rained on Tuesday, the last day that we were there.
But overall it was still quite a relaxing and enjoyable trip.
The rain was pretty light,though there was NO SUN at all.
So the biggest regret is that i din get any tan! =(
But luckily I had the company of my darling Baby.
He made everything much better and super fun!
Realli enjoyed with Candy and Sing Eu too with our mad photo taking and scary escapades. Haha!

Hope it doesnt rain when i get to Sebana.
If it rains, i'll be dead.
My boss will be in a bad mood and he prolly will scold me
altho it aint no fault of mine if it rains.
N there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do at Sebana except golf.
So it better not rain!

My 姐妹s are my bestest bunch of frens EVER,
with more than 10 years of frienship and sisterhood.
And i am so glad to meet up with them after postponing our dinner and ktv date TWICE!

We had yummy Sushi Tei dinner. I was the latest to arrive..duh!
Coz i can only knock off after 630pm. =(
I had my fave fried salmon skin! Yummilicious! *crunch crunch crunch*

Sophia has become so skinny,
i feel tempted to stuff a whole ball of rice into her face.
Must be her husband-to-be never feed her enuff and eat up all her food!
I am so happie for my dearest Soph coz she will be getting married in Sept!
The first among my frens! N the most unexpecteed one too.
I rem how we constantly worry about her not being straight way back in sec sch.
N how i kept telling myself that she will grow out of this phase when she gets older.
Then, BAM! she's getting married and becoming Mrs Chng!

She asked what colour dresses we would like to wear.
We are gg to be her JIE MEI!
Wow...being a "jie-mei" for my jie mei's wedding. Hehe.
I instantly said "Pink!".
N everyone gave me the "yah we expected that" face.
But on second thoughts..i cant imagine Yanz and Daphne wearing pink.
So i reconsidered and here's my choice for your consideration:
1. Ivory/Cream (the colour that everyone will look heavenly in)
2. Pink (yeah the barbie-bimbo still wants it)
3. Turquiose (Yanz loves green! So this one's for her)

AFter a hearty dinner with lotsa yakking, we went KTV-ing!

Sophia wants to sing But became angry that Li Ying is hogging the mic.
So she shoot dagger looks at Li Ying.


Li Ying ignores her and continues to sing.
Soph den turns around and complains to Yanz.


Yanz ignores her too. Soph feels exasperated!


Yanz conspires with Li Ying, and hogs the other mic.


Sophia turns to Fiona.
But Fiona's too lost in her own world to care, being contented with her Jasmine bubble tea and wheel-wheel crackers!


Poor Soph! Finally! It's her turn!
Yanz' heart softened and passes her the mic. Soph is happy again!


Fiona finally snaps out of her own world
after she has finished the whole bowl of wheel-wheel crackers all by herself...
and joins the rest.

Last Day...

Friday was the last day for 2 of my dear colleagues. Though I was quite sad that we cant be colleagues anymore, but I know that we will still remain as friends and will still get to see each other becoz both have found new jobs in banks nearby. Haha!

First goodbye: Prince Charles.
He promised to make me his P.A when he becomes filthy rich and successful.





Second Goodbye: My dearest Jocelyn!
She was my first FRIEND (as opposed to colleague) i made when i joined.
She joined 1 week after me, and we met at a course.
I intro-ed her and her hubby to salsa class.
We shared lunches, gossip sessions, beauty tips, shopping lobangs and secrets...
We worked hard together on our first D&D.
Since then, it was Her, Audrey and me.

So that next time they can stare at their naughty kids together and scare the hell out of them. Haha!
Ever since he joined my team at the end of last year, we became best friends!
Coz we are always looking out for each other and sharing our grievances with each other.
He always buys me my fave green apple flavoured Vitagen,
and shares with me his pong piah that he brings from home.
I love pong piah!
N he said he will let me and Bebe have a table to ourselves at his wedding next year.
Hehehehe!

I Love Cute Lil' Kids

I never used to like Kids...till recently...
I realized that kids like me! Hehe!
E.g. Baby's two nieces, esp Liv!
She's so cute and sweet and pwretty!
N she's only 21mths old!

Last Sunday, Bebe n I were taking a nap,
when Liv banged loudly on the door.
She wanted to show me the new dress she was wearing...
Coz i it bought for her.
So she woke me up to show me!
So cute!


She also woke us up coz we were supposed to go for dinner at Changi Airport's McDonald's!


Last Sunday, I went with my big extended family to the cemetry to pay respect to my late Grandpa.
My aunt rented a coach to take all of us there.
My two nieces stuck to me the whole journey there and back!
N I have not seen my two nieces for abt 2 to 3 years!
But somehow, they kinda liked me i guess.
Three of us were sharing two seats,
listening to my iPod and chatting noisily.

At the rate im eating lately...im starting to put on weight!

After a super full dinner...
We went to catch the 2nd half of the Liverpool and Arsenal football match at Conrad hotel.
I HATE Arsenal! Boo!


We had Asahi beers and a complimentary snack platter!
Felt so FULL and BlOATED!
Anyway, Liverpool won 4-1!
