Turned 24 on 24 Nov.
I think being 24 is nice. 24 is a nice number...and a nice age.
Not too old, not too young.
Still qualify as a sweet young thing, yet becoming mature and womanly.

Wanted a quiet and simple birthday and I got it!
Booked a deluxe room with harbour facing balcony at Pan Pac.
Why do i always go to Pan Pac? Coz it is damn cheap for me!
5 Star hotel but i only paid $200++ becoz of corporate rate.
Soph's Hen Night at Pan Pac the other time cost only $170 for a normal deluxe room!
Must enjoy the corporate rates while it lasts!
Been to 4 rooms in Pan Pac within 4 mths this year.
And all 4 rooms are different from each other!
1. Presidential Suite during my cousin's wedding in Aug
2. Deluxe room during Soph's Hen Night
3. Bridal Suite during Soph's wedding night
4. Deluxe room with balcony and harbour view on my bday
Main area looks the same for all deluxe room but the toilets are different!
Much bigger here with separate bathtub, shower cubicle and toilet bowl cubicle.
After that, it was swimming time!
We went to check out the pool and to go for a quick tan!
But by the time we were there and settled down...er...the sun kinda went off alry as it was alry 5pm. Dammit!
But it was still very fun lying there photowhoring and spying on ppl.
There were fat and hairy ang moh men...and busty ang moh women.
But the ang moh women there are not sexy one...no Jessica Albas ard.
Either busty but saggy or slim but flabby. Got old and wrinkly ones also.
No cute male ang mohs also.
Boo hoo. No eye candy for us! =( 
Had a nice yummy dinner at Tony Roma's...
Was full to the max!
The ribs and mash potatos are realli nice...
Im realli quite sad that Sophia had to go on last min biz trip.
Really missed her.
N im sad that Daph cant make it last min on the actual day too.
Am really disappointed as she promised she will be there! =(
Oh well...
But i still had a lot of fun with my besties and bf, all whom I love so much!

After a very full dinner...we went for short walk before gg back to the hotel.
Cam-whoring time again!
It was a very nice night view from the balcony!

Busy November
Have not been blogging lately...
Been really busy and occupied.
Facing quite a few major changes in my life right now.
But I am happy with change.
Change is good.
Come year 2008, I will be taking a brand new step into the future,
into something different.
I hope im able to adapt and survive.
Recently am really bugged down with work.
Have been staying late in the office almost everyday.
Year-end is always a very busy and stressful time for me.
Helped Baby with his new refurbished room.
Contractor came to repaint his whole room...it is now in a very nice shade a light limey green.
Gives a soothing yet cheery look. I like!
Coz i chose the colour. Haha!
Spent lotsa moolah$$$ to get a new bed, mattress, pillows, quilt, high threadcount bedsheets, and a new 32inch plasma TV!
With promo of a free home theatre system somemore...coz TV is a new model.
Spent one whole saturday cleaning, mopping, re-arranging furniture and repacking everything Baby has!
i felt like a true-blue full time housewife.
But i dun mind! Coz it is quite fun!
Me and Baby were like a married couple!
Yay!
Went for Linkin Park concert on 13th Nov as well!
Super happening!
Got the 2nd most expensive standing tickets.
Crowd was so wild that i got stepped on 8 times by 2 different ppl.
One on my left and one on my right.
So shitty.
But Baby din get stepped on at all!
Im always so SUAY. Dammit!
My first time to a ROCK concert.
Next thing to look forward to in November:

Hello Kitty Fair!
Went to the Hello Kitty Fair at Takashimaya's Talking Hall yesterday!
All thanks to LiYing who informed me about it! =)
I was cursing and swearing at myself though...
coz i did not bring out my $30 Taka vouchers
and cut out the $10 kitty fair voucher from the newspaper
to use and offset against my purchases. =(
Bought two things!
Gonna put it on my dresser! hehe!

Wedding photos & video out!
Sophia's wedding photos and video were ready!
So she invited us over to her place last Sat to chill out,
watch the video on DVD and look at the wedding photos.
I was so excited!
Before meeting the rest, Baby and I went shopping for his new mattress.
Baby was wearing his new shirt that i picked out for him - Hush Puppies Shirt!
I adore that little hush puppies dog motif on his shirt! So cute!
Had yummy Haagen Daz ice-cream too!
Our fave macadamia nut and strawberry ice-cream, accompanied by mango sorbet and apple crumble. *heavenly!*
Sophai fetched us to her house in her beemer.
Check out this cute Ultraman cushion in her car!
We had a super fun time at Soph's house!
We were pigging out on pizza hut, KFC and my fave root beer.
Too bad Li Ying had to leave early to see her fren off at the airport.
After viewing the video, I concluded that I hate looking at myself on video.
Video cams realli add like 10 pounds to your face!
I look so darn fat with a super bloated face =(
The videographer kept filming Yanz and me when we were on stage emcee-ing.
Sophia looked realli photogenic though!
No wonder she wanna be so so skinny!
Coz den she looks realli good on camera.
Shucks....when i get married..im gonna lose lotsa weight...like 5 kg!

Chomp Chomp Chomp
I love food! And I love to eat!
Recently i developed strong cravings for Korean food.
I eat Korean food when im at a food court.
There's a Korean restaurant/eatery near my workplace that serves pretty nice Korean Ramen.
Looks kinda like Korean maggi mee...but i love it!
Baby's workplace has a newly opened Korean restaurant called 'Seoul Kool' at Icon Village. It's not too bad!
A couple of weeks ago, Baby and I had Korean for both lunch and dinner in a day!
We had lunch at Seoul Kool,
and then Korean dinner at Crystal Jade Korean BBQ Ginseng Chicken Restaurant with Candy and Sing Eu, before Cands left for London.
Yummilicious!
Last Friday, Baby and I had Korean again!
Wahaha! We had Korean BBQ Steamboat Buffet at Awon Korean Restaurant at Excelsior Hotel.
Recommended by my colleague Adoncia.
It is realli good and cheap!
Altho the variety is not much, but the food is tasty
and i love the soup and the side dishes!
Had such a FULL-filling dinner!

Recently, i somehow got psycho-ed by my colleagues to eat at a hawker centre at Amoy Street.
Altho i hate eating at hawker centres during.
Crowded,hot and dirty.
It's realli CHEAP! But cheap usually = no good.
That day i had craving for fried kway teow.
The queue was so long and i queued for 10 mins before it was my turn.
And when it is finally my turn, the uncle say cannot dun fry with bean sprouts.
I totally detest bean sprouts! Ycukiest veggie in the world!
But I queued for so long alry...no choice, had to accept the beansprouts.
I thot I cud make do with it and just pick out the beansprouts as i eat.
But horrors of horrors!
The fried kway teow looks like a plate of fried beansprouts with kway teow instead.
I picked the beansprouts out till im so exhausted.
It seemed neverending! Half the plate was beansprouts and they only had 3 pieces of fishcake =/
I was so frustrated, I gave up and went to order chicken rice after eating 4 tiny mouthfuls of the kway teow.
But the chicken rice was disapointing too altho it cost only $2 like the kway teow.
The rice had no flavour. But better than the horrendous kway teow lar.
I added lotsa chilli and soya sauce to the rice make it tasty.
Luckily their chilli was nice. Saving grace.
That night, i decided to reward myself.
Baby and I went to eat at Chinese Swimming Club.
Baby's membership there entitles him to some F&B credits every month.
So i pigged out on this dish called "Surf & Turf".
It was steak and king prawns with potato wedges, broccoli topped with black pepper sauce. Totally Yummy!
I esp loved the sauce!
Baby had yummy and super spicy curry chicken.
And we had fried ice-cream for dessert!
I bought a box of 6 donuts during the day and being the greedy pigs we are,
we both ate up 3 donuts each when we got home at night.
Finished the whole box at one go!
As you can guess...yes we both put on weight.
Esp me. Im the PIGGIEST!

Bye bye to my Best Fren at work
Last Friday was my best friend Shaowei's last day at work with the team.
We have been best friends at work for about a year.
He's a very bright and smart Management Assosciate who has successfully transferred to another department with much better prospects - he helps companies get listed.
His office is now in another building altogether.
My only consolation is that he is at a building just across the street! Haha!
But! He is no longer sitting beside me. Sobz.
I can no longer turn around and exclaim "Shaowei!!!" or go "Psst Psst!"
He is really such a good friend to me.
We are always complaining to each other, sharing stories and secrets,
helping and encouraging each other in times of tremendous stress and difficulties,
laughing and bitching, skiving and going for tea-breaks together.
It is sad to see him go because I feel that there is a high possibility that ppl drift apart somehow over time.
It is realli hard to find someone you can realli trust and click to well at work.
Anyhow, Shaowei, if you are reading this,
do rem to invite me to your wedding next time k!
Rem you promised me that i can have one table FOC! Wahahaha!

I have planned a long time ago that if I am ever going to have a son,
I am going to name him 'Ashton'.
I read in 8 Days today (yeah, i was reading my colleague's 8 Days in the office)
and found out that Zoe Tay has named her new born son Ashton too!
Shucks! Same name.
BOO HOO!
Next time ppl r gg to say that I copy Zoe to name my son Ashton.
Dammit! =(
Nvm...I am still going to name my son ASHTON!
