Eventful...

Have not been blogging for the past two weeks coz i've been busy. It has been a pretty eventful two weeks.

Gwen Stefani's concert was fun!
Altho it wasn't a "Wow! I had a blast!" kinda fun.
But yeah, we had a good time.
She's so so pretty, sweet, humble and down-to-earth.








Attended my cousin's wedding last Sunday, 19th Aug.
The date is 07-07-07 in the lunar calendar, which is the day where Cowherd meets Weaving Maid once every year.
Coincidentally, 19th Aug was also my cousin's husband's bday.
So they held their wedding then! So sweet!
It was at Pan Pacific...so i was not exactly estatic
coz Sophia's wedding next month is also going to be held there.
Am going to be taking photos against the same background and possibly eating the same kinda food again! haha!

Anyway her presidential suite was woah!
Spanning over two storeys, it was realli big like an apartment!
I dun mind having a house like that!
They even got their own sauna!

Met up with my sistas yesterday for dinner to discuss about Sophia's wedding.
We are gg to plan a super fun and happening HEN NITE for her!
Yay! But of coz, it will be good clean fun lar. Haha!
We also planned how to tekan and sabo her hubby and his bunch of brothers on her wedding day.
Us and our devious plans!
It is so exciting and we're gonna have so much fun! Yay!

Gonna have a nice dinner with Baby and my family later on to celebrate 3 occassions:
Mummy's birthday, Daddy's birthday and their wedding anniversary.
All occassions are one week apart!

Concert!

Yay! It is Gwen Stefani's The Sweet Escape Tour Concert in Singapore tmr!
Im so excited!
Cant wait to go!



I bought the $120 tickets.
I booked early so i think my seats are not too bad. Haha!

I love long weekends!

I had a long weekend this week starting Wednesday evening!
Hehe...took leave on Friday.
It has been a realli nice and relaxing weekend for me so far.

Met up with my darlings on Wed after work to have a nice dinner at Fish & Co.
*Sorry Yanz dear that i cudnt make it for your bday dinner that day. Hope this makes up for it! Lovez*
Too bad Soph and Daph cudnt join us. =(


We were so busy chatting and eating that we had no time for shopping!
Den we were off to do our fave thing...KTV @ PartyWorld!
Haha!
I realli love just sitting there, drinking my bubble tea, relaxing, singing, swaying and bobbing my head when my frens sing.
It is a realli pleasant and happie feeling, and i feel so relaxed.
Baby came to fetch all of us home after that. *Thanks Bebe*




Thursday was chill out day.
Baby and I stayed at home to watch tv and our fave show F.R.I.E.N.D.S!
We bought the whole FRIENDS series in DVD from Shenzhen.
All 10 seasons! It came in one set!
Baby said it was his best buy there! I totally agree!
It is our fave show and we are so darn hooked on it!
Love reliving all our FRIENDS moment.

We also cooked! Yay!
We went to the supermarket Giants to buy groceries and cooked dinner for ourselves!
Here's what it looked like:

Cheese hotdogs, Rosti, Ham, prata and Chicken Curry!
Well, ok, we din cook the chicken curry. We din know how to.
So we just bought it from a malay food stall. Haha!
But we cooked the rest!
Yum!


Had an interview on Friday.
Went Tampines Mall to walk around and den met up with Baby for dinner.
Den it is TV time at Baby's house again!
7pm show, 9pm show on channel 8,
And it's FRIENDS time!

It's now Sat and im gg out soon!
Gonna hunt for a nice dress to wear for my cousin's wedding which is next Sunday, and for Sophia's wedding where i am one of the jie-meis!
Yay! So exciting!

Deluded

I dunno what if what I want is really what im after anymore.
The kind of life that i want, the dreams that i chase, the success that i seek.
The people i choose to love, the people i choose to trust, the people whom i thot loved and understood me.
The circle of trust is getting smaller.

Evrything is out of my grasp and beyond my control.
N i really hate that kinda feeling.
I wanna know what's in it for me, what lies ahead.
What will happen if i take this path,
what will happen if i take the other.

Seek God and you will find your way.
But somehow, i think even He gave up on me.
I asked for signs...den again...
i realized that i do not know how to read them.
Maybe i just dun want to read them.
N now, there's a big chance that i may be going in the wrong direction.
But i foolishly continue walking.
Living in denial, letting things hang...
Believing that someday it will all work out on it's own.

Every choice i make comes with a heavy penalty...
What they call an Opportunity Cost.
I hate opportunity costs.
I want it ALL.

If u work hard and earn yourself some success, ppl say that u r arrogant and despise others.
If u don't, ppl despise u.

If u give your two-cents worth on an issue, ppl say that u criticize.
If u don't, ppl say u r bimbotic.

If u love with all you've got, u risk getting ur heart broken.
If u don't, u risk missing out on what's perhaps in most impt thing in life.

If u build up self-confidence, ppl may say that u think too highly of urself.
If u don't, everyone looks down on u. Including urself.

If u take the effort to be friendly n sociable, ppl say u try too hard. Some call u a slut.
If u don't, ppl call u a bitch. An arrogant one.

If u try hard and it turns out all wrong, ppl say 'i told you so'.
If u try hard and it turns out right, u are lucky.

Who do we want to please?
What do we want to achieve?
What is happiness to you?
To want more of something, you have to give up more of other things.
To want the best of something, you have to give up something else really important to you.
Managing your opportunity costs.
To hell with that.

HongKong-Shenzhen Trip - Chapter 3

The 5th day of our trip is Disneyland Day!
So exciting!

Had Dim Sum breakfast at a restaurant before heading to take the train to Tung Chung.
*喝茶吃点心!*

Headed to CityGate Outlets for some shopping before gg to Disneyland.
CityGate Outlets is a shopping centre where it has a lot of branded factory outlets like Nike, Adidas, Timberland, Quiksilver, Esprit, United Colours of Benetton etc.

Overall, I found HongKong Disneyland realli small.
Japna's one is at least 3 to 4 times larger!
N there are much more things there too.
Nevertheless, we realli had lotsa good fun coz of each other's company.

On our 6th Day, we went shopping and sight-seeing at Tsim Sha Tsui!






Dessert Time! Yummy Mango Platter!


We went back to Mongkok's Ladies' Street for a quick shopping session
before heading back to Tsim Sha Tsui again for the Symphony of Lights display at 8am.
We alry combed the whole of Tsim Sha Tsui.


Avenue of Stars!
Caught the Symphony of Lights but nothing special.
Plus it was super crowded compared to the last time i went 2 yrs ago.
I enjoyed it more then.


Dinner time at Ashley Road!


The next day, we had breakfast at another cafe near our hotel!
there are realli quite a lot of cafes around so finding food is always easy!
It's just a matter of what you wanna eat.

We had yummy maggi mee (Again! Last chance to eat realli nice Hkg maggi breakfast) and French Toast!
Cant find any French Toast as good as the ones they make in Hkg!
Went out groccery shopping after that in Jordan to buy yummy food like maggi mee, snacks and chewing gum!


After checking out of the hotel, we went to Mongkok for more last minute shopping.
And we stumbled across "Strawberry Forever Dessert Cafe" the 2nd time!
First time was at Times Sqaure.
I love this cafe so much becoz of the Strawberry Theme.
I LOVE strawberries!
And their strawberry desserts are simply...HEAVENLY!
look good and taste good!

2 day Shenzhen, 5 days HongKong trip.
I love going on holidays with my Baby!
Boo hoo...we are now back in boring Singapore.

Im so tempted to go Japan next!
Hehehe!
Yepz! That'z our plan for next year!
Yay!
