Baby's Birthday - Part 1

Yay! Celebrated Baby's 24th birthday in advance with his family last Sunday.
His actual bday is on Tuesday, 26th June!

We went to a Jap teppanyaki restaurant at River View Hotel for lunch! Yumz!

I wore my new sunshine citrus orange dress from Topshop!

Looks normal on Baby's nieces Liv and Leticia.

After a very full and sumptous lunch, we adjorned to the lounge next door to have cakes and complimentary ice-cream! Actually it was a dual bday celebration. Baby's 2nd bro's birthday is one week later in July too. So they celebrated both their bdays together.

Next, we went to Clarke Quay for a family walk...to digest our food. Haha.

Watched "Stay Alive" on DVD at night and i was so totally freaked out!
Now im damn scared to playing games on PS2/PSP already. *shuckz*

Okie, im going out already. It's Saturday!
Gonna watch Fantastic Four.

He came back last Friday night...
Juz in time for his birthday celebration! =)

Altho Baby din have much time to shop in Korea due to his very packed and tight schedule, he still managed to bring some things back for me.

There's a Skin Food outlet in S'pore at Raffles Shopping Centre too!
But the prices at Korea's Skin food are much cheaper.
Baby bought me Milk Smooth Body Moisturiser and Milk Firming Neck and Bust Cream!
So cool! Things which i do not already have.


He got me my fave Hello Kitty wearing the Hanbook!

He also got Korea snacks and a jewellery box made of laquer & mother-of-pearl inside with a butterfly motif on top!


We went out during the weekend after one week of not seeing each other.

My Super Girlfriends!

Met up with the Swing Girls on Monday for dinner.
It's been a long time since we last meet up together!
Had a yummy japanese dinner.
It's really funny coz it seems like everytime we go out for nice dinners since Uni days,
most of the time it will be at some Japanese place! Haha!

Cands and I r supposed to do a quick round of shopping at Mango before heading for lunch.
But we end up shopping till we had NO tome for lunch!
Bought cheese sausage prata fr Taka basement back to office as lunch instead.

Suddenly thinking about the weekend and how i cant wait for it to come!
Coz im gonna spend it with Baby!
Coz Baby will be back from Korea! Yay!

Baby left for Korea yesterday and he will only be back on Friday.
His company sent him there on a business trip.
That’s like almost one week!
Today has got to be the Bluest Monday I ever had.
It is torturous to know that he is not here with me for 5 whole days.
He is seldom not with me...so it really sucks when he is so far away.
Time has been crawling today and I wished so hard that it will be Friday tomorrow.
It is so painful just to look at the clock!

It is in his absence that I truly realized how dependant I am on him,
and how important he is to me. Sobz.

I cried...when I woke up yesterday morning knowing that he will be leaving at night.
I cried...when we were leaving his house to go to the airport.
I cried...when we said our goodbyes and had our last kisses and hugs.
I cried...when I saw him go.
I cried...when I was smsing him before I slept to tell him how much I am missing him already.
I cried...really hard…when I heard the recording he left me. He sang me a nice sweet song that wrenched my heart and made me miss him even more. Miss his voice!
I cried...when I woke up this morning and know that he is not with me. That I wun be getting any phone calls from him during work. That I wun be meeting him for lunch. That I wun be getting as many smses and emails from him.
I cried...thinking about him during the day.
I cried...knowing that it is only Monday, the first day of the torturous week!

I miss my Baby.
N I cant wait for him to be back!

Sat was my lil' bro's birthday! Yay!
So we went out to celebrate!


First we went to buy a birthday pressie...
Daddy and I shared to buy him a PSP with modification and a few games!
I also bought Baby the latest edition of Winning Eleven
He's football and Playstation Crazy!
He's jealous that my brother has the game and he dun. haha...
So being such a sweet n nice gf, i bought it for him!
Managed to get it at a much cheaper price coz we bought the PSP too.
I realli bargained hard like an auntie!

I went jogging yesterday, but it has all gone to waste.
Coz i ate a super sinful and fattening dinner that comprises of:
1 pc KFC's new Miso Crispy chicken thigh,
1 pc chicken nugget,
1 pc Pizza Hut's honey wings,
2 pc Pizza Hut's sweet & spicy drumlets, &
1 slice of Pizza Hut's seafood pizza

FAT FAT FAT!
I tried to cut down on fattening food by eating seafood bee hoon soup for lunch today.
But after 2 hrs, I was hungry again!
I tried very very hard to resist!
In the end, i went to buy half a slice of mango to eat! Fruits r healthy rite!?
N den...my mouth itched.
So i popped 2 pieces of Strawberry-flavoured Hello Panda in my mouth.
2 pieces wun hurt right? *sobz!*
Somebody save me!
I put on 1 kg extra over the past week!
Im FAT FAT FAT! =(

Anyway Happy Birthday to my dearest friend Sophia, who's bday was yesterday!
Birthday celebration coming up! Yay! Let's have a fruit and yoghurt party!

Double Dates!

Last weekend was Double Dates weekend!

Met up with my dearest girlfrens LY, Soph & Yanz for dinner.
I muz say i really love them to bits!
They r my bestest frens in the world! =)

Went to meet up with Candy (another best fren of mine. Im realli blessed!) later in the night.
We went clubbing at St James' Boiler room...
On a Double Date!
Candy & her XingXing, Me and my Baby
Candy and I used to be avid clubbers!
Until we gave up on clubs coz they dun play nice R&B anymore.

True enuff...it was a disappointment.
After not being to Boiler's for about 2 months, they changed Raw Energy to another LOUSY band.
Really crappy esp the female singer who kept squeaking and whining into the mic. BOO!
N the R&B are kinda old and outdated alry...=(
We popped by Dragonfly coz they sometimes play nice R&B realli late at night after 2am.
But it was too packed to even move an inch, let alone dance!
Argh! So we left shortly after.
What a disappointment.
Is there no other clubs that play really good and the latest R&B anymore?

Saturday was another Double Date day...with Hazzy and Kevvy.
They are not realli together, but they kinda look and act like they r together.
So i realli dunno what the hell is with them.
But they look happie so...

We had Fish & Co. at the newly opened outlet at Paragon!


Nerdy Kevvy wanted to go Kinokuniya.
I found it boring. I wanted to go shopping.
How did he convince me to go? He did not. Failed attempt.
But Baby did.
Baby said "We can go there and read magazines"
Yay! I was bought over. Haha.
Baby knows me the Best!

We caught the last train home.
Waited like 10 mins for the train altho the board said '1 min'!
So good ol' me whipped out my pink cam! Photowhoring time!

An entry by the September Bride

My dearest friend, Ms Semptember Bride would like to share her story on a bad encounter with this bridal studio. It is with regards to her photo-shoot experience with them.

She hopes that all our friends who are of marriageable age will read this and learn from her experience to be more careful!

Sharing my UNPLEASANT experience with Sophia Wedding (SW)

When HB and I signed up for a package with SW, we requested for the exact same photographer and stylist as the one used by HB's sister (who was a customer of Sophia Wedding).

However, the day before our final fitting, SW called to request for our photoshoot to be pushed back. When we told them that we have already taken leave for that day, we were told to come down as per normal. It was only during our final fitting 2 days prior to the photoshoot that we were told a replacement will be taking care of our styling. Since the notice given was too short for us to source for our own alternative, we had to proceed with their replacement.

The styling done thereafter was disastrous! The stylist made no effort to alter the styles in between gown changes! She was entirely unreceptive to requests by both our photographer and us to vary the way she did my hair! Needless to say, the photos turned out highly disappointing! As a result, we only chose a couple of photos after they were ready.

Sophia Wedding noticed our lukewarm response and offered to let us reshoot certain portions (the evening gown and the indoor gown). Nonetheless, they failed to notice the distress of having to undergo preparations (manicures/pedicures, dry-cleaning of suits, etc) that we have to go through. This was aside from the impossibility of being able to recapture the mood of the first photoshoot.

In addition, SW insisted that we pick and confirm photos that we want from the first photoshoot, and that we will not be able to request for any remaining pictures not picked, should we decide to use those after our second photoshoot. All couples are given the entire collection before they decide on which photos to use in their album. Why should we be forced to pick and confirm before we had a chance to view our photos in its entirety?

We were made to pay for a top-up before a reshoot is allowed and were only told the day after payment that all photos previously set aside for us cannot be swapped for pictures taken during the second photoshoot. After a heated and long-drawn argument over the next 1 or 2 days, they finally acceded to our request and by which time HB and I feel too distraught to undergo a second photoshoot.

In our opinion, Sophia Wedding handled the matter in an unprofessional manner which caused considerable distress to their customer. Although they attempted to make up for their substandard services by offering a reshoot, they caused us more grief by imposing ridiculous terms (insisting on a confirmation on photos even before we had a chance to retake/view/choose our photos in its entirety) so as to force us to pick more photos.

It is evident that Sophia Wedding capitalized on our dilemma (certain photos, although substandard, were able to capture certain moments which cannot be recreated) and refused us the right to retain photos from our first photoshoot.
Although we have yet to reshoot our photos, but I am certain that redoing the photoshoot will open a new can of worms.

My advice: No point in paying so much at Sophia Wedding for inferior service!

Pirates of the Caribbean!

Yay! The movie is so nice!
watched in on Saturday.
I love movies that come in series...
like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Spiderman and Pirates of the Caribbean!

Advise: DUN ever watch movies at Shaw Bugis!

1. Seats SUCK. Like lido, the sloping/inclination of the theatre is bad...you can see the head of the person sitting in front of you!

2. Seats are NOT comfy at all! Arm-rests are too hard w/o any cushion padding. Chairs are the foldable type.

3. Last rows are not couple seats. In fact, there are no 'couple seats'!

3. Floor is not carpeted and looks really old and dirty...like toilet tiles =(

4. Sound system not as "surrounded".

5. It costs $9.50 per ticket plus $1 booking fee! Cineleisure's theatres are so much better and it's only $9 plus $0.50 booking fee. GV's pricing are the same but theatres are of much better quality and i dun mind paying the price.

Anyway, Orlando Bloom is so so so gorgeous!
Esp at the end...when he wore a bandana,
with an earring and his flapping maroon shirt that reveals his broad, muscular, tanned chest!
*slurpz!* So MAN!

Baby and I were so poor and broke...
that we ate our dinner at the foodcourt!
I think we ate less than 10 times at a foodcourt or hawker centre durng our weekend dates in our 2 years together!


I bought more clothes over the weekend.
One more knitted cropped wool sweater from Guess, and another work jacket from GG>5.
I almost bought a pretty pretty purple chiffon tube dress from GG>5 that costs about $166! But i refrained myself!
Too much damage!

More shopping next week! Yay!

When the going gets tough...

Past couple of weeks at work has been a DRAG.
Im like a zombie everyday coz gg to work is a DREAD.
