Tis' the season to be shopping

Last weekend, I went on a happy weekend shopping spree! Yay! So happie with my buys as im soooo in the mood to SHOP! Im soaking up to the Xmas and holiday spirit ...and i feel especially happie. Hence the mood to shop and buy stuff to celebrate my happie mood!

Wahaha i know im crapping. Let's face it, I love shopping everyday, everywhere, at any time of the year. Spent a total of $400++ last weekend....and still counting! I think i might just spend my whole pay away this month. FYI, $400 - $600 is approximately the average amount I spend in 1 month on solely shopping alone, not in 2 days! (P.S. I do have a habit of saving up a certain percentage of my monthly take home pay k!) Here are some of my buys!

1. 1st buy: I bought this very pretty Anna Sui Limited Xmas Edition Eye Palette for $59 from Istean! Saw this in a magazine and when i walked pass Isetan on my way back to office after lunch last Friday, I decided to take a look. N within 5 mins of walking in, I bought it! It's so pretty! Shaped like a a little bag! Plus the eye colours are a little shimmery/glittery. So pretty!

2. I also bought a Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil ($60) in the next 5 mins! Enjoyed a 3% discount using my Isetan credit card. Not bad lar, at least got some discount. Better than nothing. haha.

3. New Nike Sports Bra-top ($55) from Nike Women! I got it at 30% off ($38) coz i got voucher! Yeah! This is to motivate me to excercise and go to the gym. After suffering from gastric flu, i actually lost some weight pretty effortlessly! *so happie!* So now that I am back to my slimmer old self, i have to work hard to tone and maintain!

4. Adidas shorts ($39). I also got adidias voucher for this! 30% off ($28)! Buti think it's a bit long for my standard. Gonna get it altered a little shorter so it looks cuter. Haha!

5. I also bought an Adidas sling bag for my lil' bro as a Xmas and farewell gift for him ($79, $55 after discount) . He is gg NS alry. Sian =(

6. On Sat, Baby n I went to Vivocity! I bought him a pair of Calvin Klein trunk boxers ($40)!Baby loves Calvin Klein underwear! He says itz super comfortable. But coz itz quite expensive, he dun buy much of it. So i buy for him lor! From Tangs...Coz got 6% rebate w Citibank credit card Anyway, he loves the model and keeps the box to ogle at the model's body. He wanna have a body like that. Wahaha! He also said the model's d**k looks like it is of a damn good size. For me, i just dun like the long floppy blonde hair.

7. Me bought underwear too! Bought a pair of pretty g-string from La Senza! It's sheer and feels v soft and comfy! Nice huh?!

8. Crop wrap-around Jacket from Topshop ($119)! I got a 20% Topshop discount voucher! This jacket is so nice! Dark grey with silvery shimmers. I like!

9. Got this shopping card from Topshop which will be given with a purchase of $80 and above. This "Christmas Shophopper" card has $10 value in it and must be used by 25th Dec at Topshop, Topman, Warehouse, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge or Ben Sherman. With every additional $80 spent, there will be $10 added in the card! This means more shopping for me!

10. Charles and Keith black open-toe heels ($35)! This one got no discount. Sian. UOB credit cardholders supposed to get 10% discount but promo ended in end Nov. Din expect to buy shoes fr C&K so din go borrow discount card fr my colleague. But nvm lar, Charles & Keith shoes r quite cheap!

Baby carried all my shopping bags for me on sat at Vivocity. Haha! Look so poor thing. He was realli super tired walking ard w me the whole day. Thanks my dearest!

I almost bought this Bebe dress! I like it so so much! Costs $299. Was all ready to buy it. But! The smallest size, XS, is still a little too big for me. I had to tie the ribbon at the back tighter to make it fit. But then the back wun be that nice alry coz got a bit of gathers. =( The salesperson said the sizes r all quite big coz it's Canadian size. I tried a bustier tube top too, but also too big. I have a couple of Bebe tops in my wardrobe! N they r XS. haha. Only some cutting fits me. So sad. i really dig this dress!

Anyway, the fitting rooms at Vivocity's Bebe outlet is HUGE! Super big and I love it so much! Haha! I LOVE BEBE!

Next up, SALE at Mango and GG>5! More shopping for me! Yay yay!

Need to shop for a dress for my upcoming D&D too. That's a headache!

If you are wondering how come i got so many discount vouchers, itz coz my Baby's good fren is working under Wing Tai. So gave me some vouchers for those labels/shops under the WIng Tai Group! =)

The 3 types of commuters i dislike...

1. Pushy OLD Women
2. Smelly stinky people
3. Ungentlemanly men (aka pussy wussy boys!)

I must be damn suay or what coz Im always encountering these 3 types of people when I travel on the MRT. I guess (2) Smelly stinky people are quite common....but i always..and i mean ALWAYS..run into my most hated (1) PUSHY, OLD and SUPER GAN JIONG obasan!

Like today, i was boarding a crowded train during endof lunch period to go back to my office. As i waited patiently (n POLITELY!) at the side of the door to give way to alighting commuters, I felt someone nudging me hard from the side. To my horror! I saw this OLD WOMAN trying to PUSH me and SQUEEZE between me and the door. N there is only a tiny space as i was standing right next to the door! She seemed SUPER GAN JIONG to get on the train. PLEASE LAR AUNTIE!!! No need to push right? The blardie doors wun slam shut on you lar! You think SMRT stoopid isit? Chey! Plus there are alry NO seats on the ALRY CROWDED train. Push oso still NO SEATS wat!

Another more common scenario which i always encounter, is old aunties pushing me to get out of the train. They are realli super gan jiong coz sometimes, there is no one in front blocking their way at all! Mebbe except me lar. But they can always shift a little to walk pass me wat..no need to walk in a straight line right? I got no eyes behind leh. So i cant see that you are behind me or that you wanna get off the train leh. N sometimes im just standing NEXT to them, not even blocking their way! And they also wanna push me, machiam I am gg to fight with them to get off the train!

Either that or the doors havent even open, yet they wanna quickly get to the door and stand in front of the door. 'Eh auntie, first to alight from the train got prize isit?' I dunno why old woman like to push me. So many other ppl on the train...but they just have to push ME!? Why? So unfair? U mean I so suay meh? Always the one who is blocking old women's way? Or they see me easy to bully? Hmrpf!!! Or i look so evil that you think im gonna fight with you to get off the train? Siao! Im alighting at a different stop lar auntie!

I believe not many of us run into (3) ungentlemanly men. But i did! N these men really irk me! They jostle with ppl to get on the train, and fight with woman for seats! Last week, i got on the train at Raffles Place, and was walking towards an empty seat. Den, suddenly, this man 'chiong' forward and reached the seat b4 me...and SAT down! In front of me! Den ACT blur! FUCK LAR! I was so pissed! Yah lar, walk faster den me so u win lar? Obviously he saw me walking towards the seat, and i even had my eyes on it! Yet he still wanna fight w me. How UNGENTLEMANLY is that?! Unless it's an old folk or young kid...i wun mind. But a strong, healthy working man??!! Fighting w women for a seat? This is absurd!

Next bunch of ppl i cant stand...the very common 'Smelly people'. I wanna faint every time i step into a crowded and stuffy train where there is no air ventilation. Mebbe my nose sensitive or wat but im always encountering smelly ppl on my way home! Either ppl with BO or well..blanga-type. Dun mean to be discriminating others...but realli very smelly mah! Singaporeans shud be highly encouraged to practise personal hygience!!! It is understandable if you've got a bad tummy ache and cant control your fart...or you had bad luck and stepped on dog shit. But just by being smelly? it's just plain EEKS to me. =( SMRT to consider installing air fresheners on trains!

Dinner & Dance

Today, my colleague sent me a photo that we took at a function yesterday. These people in the photo also happen to be my fellow D&D committee members. Today, we had our weekly D&D meeting. N next week onwards, due to the D&D day drawing near, meetings will be held twice weekly instead, each lasting ard 2hrs each. Just when i thot my work seems to be clearing up a little and i can stop staying late in the office...Dun seem very possible now =


I always in the Dinner & Dance Organizing Committee. Why why why? Haiz. I cant rem when was the last time i actually went to a D&D which i did not have a role in organizing. Prob in JC? Oh yeah..i rem now... the last D&D i went where i can truly sit back, relax and enjoy the show (n my food!) was during the first year of my uni days. To date, I have organized more than half of the D&Ds i went to!

This year, i thought i could get out of it. Afterall, it was my 2nd D&D with my company, and I alry organized my first D&D with them..which oso happened to be our sector's first D&D! My supervisor said i wun be involved this year as i already did my so-called "national service". Yeah...i even had to do a dance routine in the opening act last D&D.

Just when i thot i could get out of it, barely a couple of weeks after the new committee was formed, they needed some old blood to assist and guide them along as it was pretty chaotic at the beginning. So, one of the business heads, who is the chairperson of the committee roped me in as I was the Overall Coordinator in the previous committee. It is oso part of my job to organize external events with business partners and customers. So she prob thinks who else but me right? This is how I ended up with the role of "the Advisor" to her and the committee. Great. More work.

It's not that i dun enjoy organizing D&D. I love it! Itz fun! N the sense of achievement you get at every successful event is great! Lotsa attention n recognition on you and stuff. But it is realli hard work and i feel like retiring from the scene of D&Ds. Hahahaha. After so many years of organizing, i guess you will lose some enthusiasm along the way. Plus, committee members dun get to take part in the Lucky Draw! Argh! Tough luck! I wanna win something! I have NVR won anything at a D&D before! =( And it can get realli stressful because it involves EVERYONE of your colleagues, plus ALL your bosses, plus other TOP TOP management from the various bankwide depts, and most importantly, the Deputy Chairman. So nothing must screw up! Else it will look bad on our dept's bosses and my head will prob ROLL.

Hopefully, I wun be in another D&D organizing committee next year. I wanna enjoy my D&D and win lucky draw prizes!

Gastric Flu

I am on MC today. Down with gastric flu. Poor me. My poor tummy has been feeling bolts of tummy ache at every half an hour to one hour intervals. Those type that comes and go. It started since Monday and got more regular and painful yesterday. So this morning i went to see my doctor. He said it will take a few days to one week plus to recover. Asked me to rest my tummy... and not eat too much! I only can eat a little bit. Gosh..but im so hungry....

He gave me this piece of paper and told me to follow his diet. This list contains the food that I am allowed to eat or drink:
1. Plain water
2. Non-gassy isotonic drinks like H2O, Gatorade
3.Porridge, esp porridge water is very good
(That is wat i had for lunch! Just drank porridge water.)
3. Non-oily, soup kway teow or bee hoon
(That is what i ate for dinner - a small portion of bee hoon soup with veggies)
4. Milo without milk
5. Banana (I hate bananas!!!)

Poor me. On the bright side..i can slim down! Yay!
Doc also said if im still not feeling too good tmr..call him and he will give me another day of mc. But nah, i think i'll juz go to work. I dun want my work to pile up. Den i might fall sick again with HEADACHE! Hahaha.

Since 2 Saturdays ago...

I permed my hair!

Somehow i dun look photogenic in photos...looks nicer in life =(
I initially din like my permed hair coz i thot the curls were a little too tight...but soon i grew to like it coz it eventually turned out quite nice after the first wash =)

My colleagues say i look dolly! Yay! But permed hair is very hard to maintain. I did it for a change as i wanted to do something new to my hair. The curls prob wun last more than 3 - 4 mths? I guess I will straighten my hair back after that. It is pretty much a hassle every morning, to wash my hair and style the curls. N im alry late for work everyday. Lately, Im later than my usual late! But i still like my dolly curls...hehehe

Xmas is coming! Yippee yay yay! I like festive periods..coz it means holiday and no work! Hurhurhur....

Anyway whenever Xmas is nearing..there is another joyous ocassion to celebrate! And that is one month before Christmas Eve. That's right! It's my birthday!

Went KTV-ing w my Baby in the afternoon of my bday. Yeah yeah we took leave...

Treated my IJ sistas to dinner at Prego's! My fave Vongole Pasta tastes superbly yummy! *Slurps* After that we went for some drinks at Glass Box at Mt. Faber. Ordered a bottle of my fave champagne Moet et Chandon! Yippee! I had a whole bottle of Moet et Chandon at Ritz Carlton during my last birthday too! N so i decided to have it every year on my birthday. Hehe.

I was initially in a very irritable mood coz i was having PMS, plus the service there was quite bad as they made me wait so long for a table. N the weather was pretty humid. So i was sulking. But after taking my first sip of my fave champagne...i was all smiles! It's so yummy! =) I also forgave the service staff as Baby told them that it was my birthday and they gave me a chocolate brownie topped with one scoop of ice-cream worth $9! It was on the house! Altho it is not strawberry....i was still happie. At least my frens could eat...Plus there was a snow fall show. But the snow looks...real FAKE. But entertaining lar. We were happily laughing at how stupid and anti-climax it looks.

My Baby bought me an Ipod! The 30GB one with video functions! *weet* Mine's in white! Thankiez very much Baby! *Muackz!!!*

My dear Yanling hand-made...i repeat, HAND-MADE this very pretty pendant for me! Cant realli see from the picture though. It is made up of pink n white beads forming little flowers shaped into a ball. WAH! So touched! Looks pretty difficult to make wor...her eyes must have hurt after all the squinting as each bead is pretty small. It's so so pretty! *gan dong!*

My dear Li Ying bought me this very pretty Guess Charm Necklace! The top pendant has the brand "Guess" on it and the 2nd pendant has "L'Amour Love" engraved all over. Yay! Love Love Love!

Sweet Sophia bought me a Clarins lip balm! It smells and tastes berry good! Yum Yum! She is so thoughtful coz she noes my lips sometimes can get very dry esp working in the air-conditioned office. N yeah there was this period of time when my lips was peeling so badly..and my itchy fingers just cant stop peeling the flakes away. Super disgusting till Baby said he wanna fine me $1 for every single time i peel my lips. Haha.

Pretty pink roses that my dear supplier-cum-friend sent to my office 3 days before my birthday. Katherine from DK Marketing! She is my supplier for corporate gifts and marketing collaterals. We have worked so closely together that she is like my elder sister! (She's actually 1 yr younger than my mum only, haha). So sweet of her to send me flowers.

Baby din even give me any flowers. HMPF!

Other than these presents I also received ang baos from Daddy, Mummy and Baby's Mummy!

The next day, i had dinner with Baby and my family at No Signboard Seafood restaurant at Esplanade! My fave were the Crabs and Crayfish we had that night. Superb! Two thumbs up! Love having dinner with my parents and bro n Baby. Feel so xin fu and blessed.

Special thanks to my frens who remembered my birthday and smsed/called me to send me well-wishes. Very touched and happie that you guys remembered! Esp some frens who have been remembering every year w/o fail though we hardly meet up.

My Bangkok Trip 2006 - Last Chapter

Well, It has been quite some time since i last blogged. Been really busy at work! I've became such a workaholic, working late almost every day or once every 2 -3 days. The latest I have stayed at work is till abt 10.30pm! N yeah, I was the last to leave the whole bloody big office. Today i worked till 8.30pm. Boo.

Anyway, since it has been almost 2 months since i last went to Bangkok....Kinda sian to blog about it alry. Haha. So here's a summary with some pictures!

Siam Paragon! It is tauted as "The Pride of Bangkok". It is like a mega version of Singapore's Paragon and a bit of Vivocity. Well, letz just say that most of whatever they've got at Siam Paragon, Singapore has them too. So I dunno what is so prideful about it. But i must say i do love their flagship departmental store, also called Siam Paragon. It has everything under one roof and looks more stylish, well-decorated with roomy fitting rooms and aisles! Also their basement is like a food galore! Something like Taka's basement but with more neat rows of stalls/counters selling really yummy food ranging from takopachi to assorted waffles & pancakes to noodles to thai and international cuisine. Yum!

On one of the nights, we went on board Chao Phraya Princess for a dinner cruise along Chao Phraya river! So romantic! Unfortunately it rained shortly after we went onboard the boat. So we had to move downstairs to the bottom deck that is air-conditioned. In an enclosed boat...i felt kinda sick and felt like puking. Cudnt eat much in the end so wasted $$. =( If it din rain, we wud have sat on the top open-air deck and i wudnt have felt seasick. (we've got really good seats, all thanks to Baby's connections!) Nevertheless, it was still fun and romantic! Ambience was good with candlelights and live singers. They had fireworks too!

As our hotel is conveniently located and is very near a lot of shopping centres, we tend to take one short 5 to 10 mins break in the middle of the day by gg back to our hotel to wash up and put our shopping bags down...for more shopping afterwards. Here's a pic of us horsing around and playing in our hotel room at Pathumwan Princess. Got this umbrella-twisted balloon from this cute mascot at the hotel lobby! Anyway the point is, I love being with Baby. Even during our short break from shopping, we can have so much fun together.

We went clubbing at CM2! It is located at Novetel Siam Square hotel. The club is a hit with many tourists esp ang mohs. Quite a bit of Thai girls there to ...specially to pick up ang mohs! These thai girls are young adults betw 20-30 yrs old. Some look like students! They must have saved quite a bit coz the cover charge is not that cheap as compared to other clubs. Guess they are there to have one-night stands or to hook up a rich ang moh bf? Anyway, it is definitely not a sleazy club. It is something like Thumper, but it is super big! With a main arena, a R&B room, wine corner, a stage and quite a few pool tables. There is a ang moh live band playing too and they are realli good! Way better than those in S'pore. They do not only sing...they dance too! It is like watching some black eyed peas concert...very entertaining. Clubbing there is realli fun fun fun! After clubbing there, i dun think clubbing in S'pore is that fun anymore.

The before and after pic of our couch at the end of our 2nd last day in Bangkok, where we dump all our shopping bags. Actually..there are more on the table. But i dun wanna look too kua zhang. Haha!

Having breakfast at the hotel on the last day. I felt super sian that we have to go back to S'pore alry. *bleugh* 6 days just flew by so quickly.

One thing we did not have the chance to do at Bkk...MASSAGE! Shucks! No time at all. All day..all we do is shop and shop, and eat and club. Haha. But guess what we found when we arrived at Changi airport?? Yep! OTO foot massage machines! Wah! Heavenly! My super tired and sore feet realli felt GOOOOD! A 5 mins massage on that machine realli did wonders!

End of story! All in all, a super fun trip with Baby! Yay! Where shall we go next year? Hehehe..must start saving!

My Bangkok Trip 2006 - Chapter 2

14th Sept 2006

Yay! I woke up to Bangkok! Not in S'pore anymore. Far far away from my office and my boss. We had a sumptous breakfast. We wanted to eat till we r really full, n have a light snack for a late lunch instead. In this way, we can:
1. have more time to shop
2. save more money for shopping n nice sumptous dinners
3. Cut down on overall food intake so that we wun put on weight during our holiday!

After breakfast, a well-established tailor came to our hotel to pick us up to their shop. Lotsa ppl recommended tailoring at Bkk coz the prices r much cheaper compared to S'pore. So I thot i shud give it a try. At least tailored clothes will fit me nicely in the design i want. Well, n so i thot. My fren recommended this tailor as they r supposed to be pretty gd n has a 24 hr factory. The hotel was so nice to call them for us! This tailor provides transport n fetches all itz customers to and fro from their shop. But! Their prices r slightly higher than those normal tailors that can be found along the streets.

Anyway, i realli regret tailoring my clothes in Bkk. No matter how good the tailor is, it sucks! Coz the tailors there do not know anything about FASHION! They only know how to sew STANDARD stuff. I showed them pictures of the clothes i wanna tailor. But it all turned out wrong after i went for fitting the next day. More details in my next chapter. Anyway i tailored 2 pants, 1 skirt n 1 blouse. Wanted to tailor a dress but it was too expensive. These 4 items cost me abt SGD $260 in all.

Next was shopping at Central area such as Platinum Mall, Gaysorn Plaza, Central World, Bkk Bazaar n Big C.

Check out the top left pic. That's the spokesperson for their OSim Uzap. She can't even compare to our Fiona Xie! Eeks! So NOT pretty. Anyway they also had a Guy Laroche clothes boutique at Central Worold. But Guy Laroche clothes r so so auntie! I walked in...n walked out again within a few secs.At night, we went to Baiyoke Sky hotel for dinner! We alry made prior reservations from S'pore. Baiyoke Sky hotel is the tallest building in Bkk city. N we went to eat at the restaurant on the 77th flr! It was a yummy international buffet dinner!

After dinner, we went up to some gallery on the 79th flr where we can see the view thru the full panel glass windows that enveloped the whole storey.

Den we went up to their open-air 360degress rotating obeservatory deck right to the top of the building on the 83rd flr! Wow! It was really cold being so high up! I felt like i could reach almost reach the sky! But Baby was so scared! He held on to the railing for his dear life as the travellator rotated so that we can catch the full view of Bangkok's skyline. So romantic!

We wanted to go to Bo Bae Market after that. But we cudnt find the place n it was v late alry. So we went back to our hotel! More shopping the next day!

My Bangkok Trip 2006 - Chapter 1

13th Sept 2006 - Wed

The day is finally here! Today we on board Finnair flight AY98 at 9.50pm S'pore time to Bangkok. The moment I stepped into the transit area of Changi Airport, I started shopping!

Zoomed straight to the Cosmetic and Perfume section and bought the latest & newest slimming/firming product from Biotherm! It's the Biotherm Celluli Intense Peel. Cost me $66. I thought since my Abdochoc was pretty good, why not try this? It is supposed to be more effective than Cellulite Choc and Adbochoc. Cool! I wanna be toned & pencil thin yet sexy like Fiona Xie!...minus boobs. Haha! Not that I dun want...but itz unachievable w/o plastic surgery.

I also bought a M.A.C blusher! Yay! Cost only $29! I bought the latest shade that was out. Happened to suit the tone of my face, so it was highly recommended by the gay M.A.C counter guy. I trust gays that work at beauty counters and hair salons a lot… they know a lot more than girls!

Baby is also very vain. He bought his Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gio Pour Homme perfume. I love the smell! My Baby uses that and Hugo Boss' 'Boss'. He loves smelling good. I love him for smelling so good. Hehe!

We shopped till we were almost late to board the plane! Yeah…we were one of the last few to get on. In no time, we reached Bangkok! N we checked into Pathumwan Princess. What a nice hotel! Better than stoopid lousy Asia Hotel I stayed last year. I dun mind paying the price!

A sick girl who went shopping

I was on half day mc on Monday and full day mc on Tuesday. Had fever, headache and sore throat when i went to work on Monday. It got pretty bad and i was feeling so sick tt i felt like fainting. When i ate, I felt like puking. *bleugh* It was so horrible tt i cudnt take it any more n took a cab to see my family doctor near my home. My fever was 38.3 degress celsius. Quite high hor? The doctor gave me 2 days mc! N i slept the whole afternn away. Altho i was feeling terrible, itz kinda cool tt i dun have to work at the beginning of the week!

But juz when my fever was gone n my sore throat was getting better, it evolved into a bad flu and cough on Thursday! But i was so busy at work, i juz gritted my teeth and work on. Plus there was the Isetan Private Sale which i wanted to go to. But as the night wore on, it got pretty bad and i wanted to puke again when i had my dinner with Li Ying. I was coughing like mad, and my nose was blocked n running all at the same time. So this morning, i went to the doctor's b4 gg to work. The doc wanted to give me a full day mc, but i asked for half day instead coz i had to go to work to rush my report. How sick is that! But i sure am a RESPONSIBLE ger right? hehehe! So i came back in the afternn, and slept all the way again. Itz dinner time now.

Anyway, I was very serious when i swore off shopping for 2 months after my Bkk shopping trip. BUT! There had to be the Isetan Private Sale for cardmembers n guests on Thursday. SHIT...i HAVE to go! So yeah, i went w my colleague Hazel during lunch for an hr, and again after work with Li Ying. I din buy much...3 items only...but i spend about $130! hahaha!

I bought a polka dotted sheer babydoll camisole, a purple m)phosis top and yet another...Guess bag. I realli like this new Guess bag i bought as i was eyeing it for some time alry. It costs $119.90. I went to Bkk in hopes of getting it at a cheaper price. But no! Bkk's branded stuff are a little pricer than S'pore becoz of the higher import and govt tax. It cost like $127 at Bkk. During this Isetan Private Sale, most stuff were gg for 30% off(20% for the wkend public sale) + additional 3% for cardmembers! Yay! So in the end i got it for only $81.41. Good buy right? Yippee! It is a casual beachy looking weekend tote bag which is brownish and gold.

Wish i bought more stuff though, but it was perpetually impossible as it was so darn darn crowded! With all the jostling and pushing thru the crowd, it was realli hard to shop. The whole place was a huge disorganized market-like mess! You muz realli look hard for stuff! I was realli lucky to have found the polka dotted camisole. It was the last new piece they had!

Poor Li Ying din managed to buy anything at all. N Hazel only managed to buy one yellow m)phosis racer back top. Both of them nearly gave up shopping there. Haha. I guess im really the shopping queen...which is a really bad thing. Eventually, my bank account will be empty...

Back from Bangkok

For those of you who missed me...Im back!
Was away from last Wed night to Monday night. Went to Bangkok for 6D5N with my Baby. It was truly a fun fun fun trip! Altho we alry went Bkk last August, it was still as fun to go again! This time we managed to cover most of the shopping places in Bkk.
But we were super duper tired with aching feet and bodies.
Yeah, Princess Shopaholic strikes again.

Some places in Bkk were so hard to shop at, esp the night markets, weekend markets and huge shopping malls! It was a tought feat esp when Bkk's fashion isnt that fantastic. You've gotto really shop in detail and look hard to find nice and suitable stuff! Depends a lot on your luck too, coz the shops are pretty messy and disorganized. If you are lucky, you can realli find some interesting and cool clothes/accessories!

With my shopping skills and perserverance, i managed to comb thru lotsa shops and bought lotsa nice stuff! Managed to use my great bargaining skills to get real good and cheap deals too! Spent ard $1k on pure shopping alone, excluding airfare and accomodation. Super broke now!

I am still on leave yesterday and today. Excluding weekends, i took a total of 6 days leave starting last Wed. Have to go back to work tmr...SIANzzz. After not working for so long, I am bound to be super busy at work tmr. Dun even wanna think about my flooded mailbox and the huge pile of work waiting for me. SHIT.

But luckily i came back on monday night, coz the very next night, Thai's PM declared a state of emergancy! Today is made a public holiday and everyone is advised to stay at home. It was said that the streets today are quiet and deserted. If we stayed longer or go on our trip one day later, and Baby n I could be in danger! However, when we were there, nothing happened at all! Mebbe we were too busy shopping and and enjoying ourselves that we were oblivious to all the impending political unrest that was gg on ard us. Plus there was bombing at Hatyai when we were still in Thailand! Luckily it wasnt at Bkk! I will be scared to death! Boy, i sure am lucky that my trip ended on Monday huh?

Anyway, that was sure a good break for me and Baby. More trips to come!

I dun think i can go..coz im way way too broke. I need at least $3k to go there!
N I have to pay for myself this time..no more Daddy-sponsored trips.
